Ronnie T. O’Bannon, (a.k.a. Ronnie Lucciano or DJ Drama), 27, has been charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence after Louisville Metro Police said he shot a woman around 1:30 a.m. May 1 inside the Vibes nightclub. According to friends and family, the deceased, Kasmira Nash, 37, of Louisville, worked at Vibes as a bartender.

Louisville Metro Police Department, LMPD spokeswoman Alicia Smiley said previously that Nash was pronounced dead at Vibes, and a man who was also shot was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

"Authorities say the club was well attended at the time of the incident, however there were no other injuries," Smiley said. "The Homicide Unit is handling the investigation and believe both shootings took place inside the venue.”

Video circulating online shows rapper Jack Harlow, 23, ducking and running off the stage during the shooting.

Vibes was hosting a "2021 Derby Weekend Kickoff" party that Friday night before the next day's horse racing spectacle, the Kentucky Derby. And DJ Drama, according to the club's Facebook page, was a featured guest. Harlow is signed to DJ Drama's Generation Now record label.

Harlow and DJ Drama were both at Churchill Downs several hours before the Vibes event for Oaks Day, with the rapper also indicating he planned to attend the Kentucky Derby the following day according to his Instagram post.

The Louisville rapper had been tapped to perform the honor at this year's Derby of yelling "riders up" before the jockeys head to the starting gate, but a change was made at the last minute, with Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas stepping in. The 'what's poppin' rapper wasn't seen at the track at all on Derby Day.

Harlow was also recently in the news for his creepy and misogynistic comments about TikToker Addison Rae who he was rumored to be dating.

In a Pitchfork interview published Wednesday, the rapper talked about his FaceTime call with Addison when they reviewed some of her TikTok videos. "I started watching the videos, and her sex appeal just came out," Harlow said. "I really like it.... The faces that are made. I like the hip movements..."
