BLM Rioters Attack Rand Paul, Guests Near The White House After RNC Event

Trump formally accepted his nomination to be the Republican candidate for the upcoming presidential election, at an event on the south lawn of the White House, Thursday night.

Black Lives Matter rioters descended on where was recently named Black Lives Matter Plaza on 16th street near the White House, to disrupt the Republican National Convention event.

Confrontations between police and rioters reportedly escalated by 8 p.m local time, as the band Long Live GoGo attempted to drown out the convention's fireworks display.

Things took an even uglier turn as guests leave after the convention festivities.

One of the videos circulating online shows tall, mask-clad man yelling "Boo!" at an elderly couple exiting the event. The rioter walked to within inches of the elderly woman -- and thrust his middle fingers close to her face.

Shouts of "Fuck you! Fuck you!" can be heard on megaphones in the background.

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul tweeted that he felt like he could have been killed walking back to his hotel. "Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob," he wrote.

Recounting the incident the senator's wife Kelley Paul wrote in part:

"Thursday night felt like being in a terrifying dystopian novel. The mob swarmed me and my husband, Sen. Rand Paul, in a tight circle, screaming expletives, threats, and shouting, 'Say her name.' We rushed up to two police officers, and I believe that is the only thing that kept us from being knocked to the ground. Even pressed against the officers, we were greatly outnumbered.

As the mob grew and became more threatening, we literally could not move, and neither could the two officers for several minutes. The rioters were inches from us, screaming in our faces.

That was the worst part. At first, I attempted to meet the eyes of one of the protesters and tried to explain that Rand authored the Justice for Breonna Taylor Act, but it seemed to just infuriate them more, as they called me a 'bitch' and 'racist whore' alongside an endless torrent of 'fuck yous.'"

"I believe there are going to be people who are involved with the attack on us that actually were paid to come here, are not from Washington, D.C., and are sort of paid to be anarchists," Paul told Fox News on Friday. "This is disturbing because really, if you're inciting a riot, that's a crime, but if you're paying someone to incite a riot, that person needs to go to jail as well."

Another video shows a group of unhinged rioters following and harassing a couple. An unhinged mask-clad woman can be seen screaming "fuck fuck fuck..." in the couple's face.

Fox News contributor Dan Bongino, who attended the RNC event with his wife, shared a video on Friday morning that he had recorded showing several protesters, whom he referred to as "BLM terrorists" shouting at him and his wife, Paula.

One of them is heard repeatedly shouting, "Is that your bitch wife?" Paula, according to Bongino, was also referred to as a "bitch-ass" and was told "Ho, learn to walk in heels." Another protester in the video is heard telling Bongino, "You're an embarrassment."

Discussing the incident on his podcast, Bongino told his listeners, "These guys and women are total cowards and chumps."

"They attack in packs ... It's like they have this hive mind ... they know they have to attack in packs because they are legitimately chumps," he continued. "When you stare them in the face, they look down, they won't do anything ...

"They're total cowards when you confront them. Totally. Mark my words. They don't have a shred of courage or dignity, but they do attack in packs and it gives them, like, collective power because they know that if it breaks bad for them, their friends will hit you with a skateboard."

During a rally Friday, at a hanger at Pro Star Aviation on Kelly Avenue in Londonderry, New Hampshire, President Trump slammed the rioters.

"These incredible people last night walked out to a bunch of thugs," Trump said. "They weren't friendly protesters, they were thugs."

He condemned the Democrat mayor of Washington, DC for not believing in law and order.

Republican Party chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted, "Disgusting to see many of the RNC attendees threatened. Mayor Bowser failed to protect them because they are Republican. @realDonaldTrump wants law and order for all Americans."
