Ghislaine Maxwell Exonerates Trump, Denies Knowledge Of Epstein's Mossad Connections, In DOJ Interview

The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday, released the full transcripts and audio recordings of a two-day interview conducted by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche with Ghislaine Noelle Marion Maxwell, 63, the only person convicted in connection with Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking crimes, in a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida.

The interview conducted by Blanche and other DOJ/FBI officials, including Diego Pestana, Spencer Horn, and Mark Beard, took place in July 24 and 25, 2025. Maxwell was represented by attorneys David Markus, Leah Saffian, and Melissa Madrigal. The session was recorded and governed by a proffer agreement providing Maxwell limited immunity for truthful statements (with exceptions for lies or contradictions in future proceedings).

The interview focused on Maxwell's relationship with Epstein, his life, business, allegations of sexual misconduct, famous associates, and related events, while touching on her own case. She volunteered information, denied wrongdoing, and disputed media/trial narratives.

Maxwell, serving a 20-year sentence, denied the existence of a "client list" or "black book" of Epstein's associates, claimed Epstein did not kill himself, and stated she never witnessed any nonconsensual sexual activity involving minors or inappropriate behavior by prominent figures like Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, or Prince Andrew.

The 63-year-old adamantly denied that Epstein ever maintained a "client list" or stockpile of blackmail material against powerful individuals. She said there is "no list" and that she "never heard that, never saw it, and never imagined it." She attributed the origin of the list rumor to a 2009 incident involving a lawyer from the firm Rothstein Adler, who claimed to have evidence belonging to Epstein, which she believes was obtained through a sting operation involving Epstein's former butler.

Maxwell said she does not believe Epstein died by suicide, a conclusion that contradicts the official ruling by the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the FBI. She suggested the death might have been an "internal situation" but rejected the idea that he was murdered to silence him about powerful associates, calling that notion "ludicrous."

The 63-year-old claimed she never witnessed any nonconsensual sexual activity or inappropriate behavior by Epstein or any other man with women of any age, though she acknowledged that some physical contact might be considered inappropriate by others. She specifically denied that Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, or Prince Andrew ever engaged in inappropriate acts with minors or were involved in Epstein's activities.

Maxwell described her relationship with Epstein as having ended in 1999 and said he never loved her, telling her he was not interested in her and would sometimes have others lie to her. She claimed she met Prince Andrew at a dinner party in the late 1990s or early 2000s and was not responsible for introducing them, and she called the infamous photograph of Andrew, Virginia Giuffre, and herself a "fake photo."

She also said she did not believe Epstein knew members of the Cuomo (former New York governor) family or had any business dealings with Hillary Clinton, though she thought he may have donated to the Clinton Foundation.

Maxwell claimed Epstein had a heart condition that prevented normal sexual intercourse and that his personality changed after starting testosterone therapy in the late 1990s, a fact she believes is documented in his medical records. She also said she had no personal knowledge of relationships between Epstein and figures like Elon Musk, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, or Naomi Campbell, though she thought Musk and Epstein knew each other based on discovery documents.

The convicted sex trafficker and former girlfriend of Epstein also denied any knowledge of Epstein working with intelligence agencies like CIA, MI6 and Mossad.

Critics slammed her denial of the presence of cameras at Epstein's infamous Island; her claim of no knowledge of Epstein's work with Mossad or other intelligence agencies, and whitewashing of Bill Clinton's inappropriate and widely reported connections with Epstein.

Maxwell's father Robert, a proud Zionist, worked with British and Israeli intelligence, and Epstein is widely believed to have worked with Mossad and has extensive connections with Israeli leaders like former Prime Mininster Ehud Barak.

Critics argue these obviously false or at least misleading claims render her testimony utterly useless and unreliable.

The interview with Maxwell was conducted just days after federal judges denied the DOJ's requests to unseal grand jury materials from the Epstein and Maxwell cases.
