Israel Revealed Intel To US On Hamas Covert Ops In Bombed AP, Al Jazeera Gaza Tower

Israeli officials reportedly also shared the intelligence during US President Joe Biden’s phone call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday. U.S. fficials were shown how Hamas operated inside the same building with the Associated Press and Al-Jazeera in Gaza.

“We showed them the smoking gun proving Hamas worked out of that building,” a senior Israeli diplomatic source reportedly said. “I understand they found the explanation satisfactory.”

An Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman said thousands of journalists were briefed on the matter in the past day, including a joint briefing with the Israeli Defense Force, IDF and police spokespeople for foreign media on Saturday night.

The Israeli Air Force, IAF struck the 12-story tower on Saturday, giving a warning an hour in advance to the offices including AP and Al-Jazeera offices in the building.

“The building housed the offices of civilian media, which the terrorist organization Hamas hides behind and uses as human shields,” the IDF said in a statement. "The terror organization Hamas deliberately places its military assets in the heart of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip. Prior to the attack, the IDF warned the civilians who were in the building and gave them sufficient time to evacuate.”

Netanyahu also remarked that there were “no deaths whatsoever” from the strike on the building, because of measures Israel takes to avoid harming civilians, including giving an advance warning.

Following the attack, many far-left activists, media talking heads and politicians have been 'falling over themselves' to bash Israel.

Marxist Democrat U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, AOC called Israel an "apartheid state" in a twitter rant.

Responding to AOC's tweet, United States senator Ted Cruz(R-TX) accused the congresswoman of "speaking out in favor of Hamas terrorists."

Another radical marxist and Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib claimed in a tweet rant that "Israel targeting media sources is so the world can't see Israel's war crimes led by the apartheid-in-chief Netanyahu."

Responding to Tlaib's absurd claim, conservative Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene called for the resignation of the far-left congresswoman. "Israel was not targeting media, they were targeting the terrorist organization Hamas that is funded $30M/month by Iran, and has been firing over 1,000 rockets into Israel this past week," Congresswoman Greene said. "@RashidaTlaib do you support Hamas Jihad and Iran funding terrorism?"

Since the latest war between Israel and Hamas terrorist group in Gaza, thousands of rockets have been fired indiscriminately into Israel by the various terrorist groups based in Gaza.

Though most of the rockets have been intercepted by IDF's Iron Dome short-range missile defense system, dozens of Israeli civilians have been killed and injured. Dozens of Palestinians have also been killed.

IDF accused Hamas of placing innocent Palestinians in harm's way. This is not a new tactic by Muslim terrorist groups who often use women and children as human shield.

After Israel's Operation Protective Edge against Gaza terrorists in 2014, former AP reporter Matti Friedman wrote in The Atlantic: "Hamas understood that reporters could be intimidated when necessary and that they would not report the intimidation... The AP staff in Gaza City would witness a rocket launch right beside their office, endangering reporters and other civilians nearby – and the AP wouldn't report it, not even in AP articles about Israeli claims that Hamas was launching rockets from residential areas."
