WAP Fight: Cardi B, Candace Owens Feud On Social Media

Keneci Channel

The virtual clash started Sunday on Twitter after activist and Blexit.com founder, Candace Owens posted a clip of herself on The Ben Shapiro Show.

She told host Ben Shapiro that Cardi B's  recent ELLE interview with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, is "one of the biggest insult" to "black America." She also referred to the 27 year-old rapper and songwriter as an "illiterate rapper."

“If black America is not insulted by the fact that Joe Biden, who has been hiding in his basement for the entire year, made an appearance and came out because he was going to do an interview with Cardi B - do we have nothing better to offer?” Owens said in the clip.

Cardi B responded, falsely claiming that her lesbian sister Hennessy was harassed by Trump supporters. She tweeted: "You wanna know why joe gotta talk to me Candice cause I have the #1 song & yet my sister can’t go to the beach in the Hampton’s wit out trump supporters harassing cause they were by themselves & Santa Claus was harassing my sis GF all because they are a Afro/Hispanic gay couple."

Owens shot back, mocking Cardi B's incoherent tweet: "To clarify—Joe Biden 'gotta talk' to you because you have the number 1 song and Santa Claus was harassing your sister? Um. K. Thanks for clearing that one up," Owens wrote.

Cardi B again responded, bragging about her song's popularity: "Yes you are right I have the number 1 song & I have a huge platform and I can make millions go vote to get the MAN THAT USED YOU .I don’t want to argue with you Candace I really don’t have the time .I honestly just feel sorry for you."

Owens again shot back. "Joe Biden used you. Bernie Sanders used you. Neither one of them like or know your music. They think you’re dumb." In another tweet, she wrote. "When you stick to music, you can get left alone. When you dabble in politics, you will get called out for platforming ignorance."

Responding to Cardi B's false claim that she was snubbed by Trump during the Republican National Convention, Owens revealed that she "turned down filming a spot for the RNC convention."

Cardi B took the feud to Instagram Live. "It's not a secret I use my platform to encourage people to vote,’ she said in the video. "I have millions of followers. I pay millions in taxes. I have the Number One song in this country, I have the Number One song in the United Kingdom, I have the Number One song in Australia, I have the Number One song in New Zealand."

"Just like I can make millions of people pop their pussy," she said of her hit-single WAP, "I can make millions of people go out and vote."

The vulgar rapper and former stripper who showed just her fingers throughout the 8 minute video, called Owens a "cheerleader" for Trump; and said the Republican activist is "getting pimped out by white men."

"I don’t know what Black man broke your heart … that you hate your kind so much," Cardi said. "I honestly just feel sorry for you," she said in a separate message.

Cardi B has since deleted the Instagram video.

Owens also took to Instagram Live to respond. "You continually keep saying you have a Number One song--it means shit," the pregnant 31 year-old said. "Nobody cares about a song about your Wet Ass Pussy. That has nothing to do with Black America, and whether you're helping or hurting. Right now, you're hurting Black America."

She provocatively suggested to Cardi B that statistically, her husband, Offset, is more likely to kill her than a police officer.

Responding, Cardi B tweeted, "Your baby singing wap wap wap this some dry ass pussyyyy."

Apparently disgusted by the rapper mentioning 'baby' and and 'WAP' in a sentence, Owens fired back, "Attacking an unborn child," she wrote. "How very DEMOCRAT of you. While I have you--did you know your party has supported the slaughter of over 18 million black babies since 1973? Did you know the most unsafe place for a black child is in its mother’s womb because of YOUR party?"

Owens later seemed to take a break from the feud. But Cardi was not done. She shared a fake video that appears to show Owens' husband playing 'WAP' at a boat party.

The rapper who seemed rattled by many of her fans declaring her the loser in the feud, also retweeted a couple of her supportive fans bashing Owens.

Cardi B on Monday posted a picture showing black Republicans praying for President Trump in the Oval Office. "This what PANDERING looks like," she tweeted. "I will never praise no politician not even Obama,FDR or Bernie ONLY THE LORD !This is how Trump panders with black people while Candice concerns how Joe panders with me."

Owens responded: "LMFAO. You’ve never prayed with anyone before you, insatiable moron? We are not praying TO him, we are praying WITH him. Do you know the difference between 'to' and 'with'?"

The Republican fire brand later concluded: "Never listen to a person that has private security but wants the public police defunded. Never listen to a millionaire that made it here in America, but trashes our country. These Hollywood idols are frauds, leading sheep down paths they never took when they discovered success."
