During his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference CPAC, last Sunday, President Trump slammed the left's push to allow biological males to play in women's sports.
"Joe Biden and the Democrats are even pushing policies that would destroy women's sports," Trump said, noting that women born female are "incensed" that transgender women are breaking records they previously held. In Connecticut, some 15 recent girls state high school track and field championships have been won by transgender competitors.
President Trump argued that "women's sports as we know it will die" if coaches are allowed to recruit biological males, many of whom enjoy physical advantages when competing in women's sports. "We must protect the integrity of women's sports," he declared.
Trump's remarks as usual, triggered unhinged left-wing outrage online. Leftists called him a transphobe and bigot.
Conservative author and BLEXIT founder Candace Owens weighed in on the debate during her appearance on Monday on Fox news' Tucker Carlson Tonight Monday. Owens recently gave birth to a baby boy.
The conservative firebrand noted that the left would call anyone a hateful transphobe and bigot, for "speaking common sense" about the fact that there is a meaningful biological difference between a woman and a man.
"I find this to be unbelievably offensive the idea that there're no differences between men and women," Owens told Fox news host Tucker Carlson. "Especially as you just mentioned, me being someone that just gave birth six weeks ago. The idea that there's nothing that makes me special, nothing that makes me different from a man -- that stands up and says 'I now identify as a woman,' -- is quite frankly insulting."
Owens pointed out how ridiculous the transgender agenda is by presenting a hypothetical scenario in which basketball player LeBron James "with all his physical prowess," decides that he identifies as a woman and wants to compete against women.
The conservative author triggered the left after praising Trump for defending "actual feminism" following his remarks at CPAC on the transgender agenda. "If you guys are wondering what actual feminism is, it’s Donald Trump having the courage to stand up on stage and call out the insanity of biological men dominating women’s sports," she tweeted. "He never kowtows to the Left."
