Piers Morgan Obliterates UK Labor Leadership Candidate In Transgender Debate

Keneci Channel.

The UK Labor party leadership election is underway, with three candidates–Rebecca Long-Bailey, Keir Starmer and Lisa Nandy–contending for the role. Of the three, Long-Bailey and Nandy both signed up to the Labor Campaign for Trangender Rights pledge,

This has led to a split in the Labor coalition and a debate has been raging inside and outside the party. Nandy admitted herself that she had  "pause for thought" before signing the pledge.

Apparently Nandy has not yet thought it through as she appears on Piers Morgan's morning show 'Good Morning Britain,' Tuesday.

In a heated back and forth with Morgan, Nandy appeared to be utterly clueless and scared of saying the wrong 'woke' words. She refused to answer any specific question posed by Morgan.

"Are you happy for anyone born to a male biological body to simply raise their hand without any need for surgery, and to compete in the Olympics against women born to female biological bodies"? Morgan asked.

Nandy tried to steer off the main thrust of Morgan's question. "There have been all these issues raised in sports over recent years about who qualifies into which contest...that debate is also raging in relation to disability. And what level of disability qualifies you to compete in the Paralympic and what doesn't..."

Morgan wasn't having it. "Just back to my question..." he interrupted. Then the debate turned contentious between the two with co-host Susanna Reid and two other guests looking on.

At one point he asked her if it would be fair to let someone like runner Usain Bolt or boxer Floyd Mayweather to identify as female and compete with women.

Ms Nandy accused Morgan of creating more heat and less light in the transgender debate.
