Bill Maher Warns Leftists Against Wishing Death On Conservatives: "They have way more guns"

The comedian and Real Time with Bill Maher host made the comments on his show Friday night, during a monologue on the idea of a 'national divorce,' a split of the United States along political lines into a conservative 'red America' and left-wing 'blue America.' Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently tweeted a poll asking

Maher who is also a stand-up comedian, warned that to "halt this decent into civil war" in America, people "have to stop hating each other." He cited leftists online and at his shows who call for the killing of conservatives.

"You know, besides the fact that wishing people dead is a terrible place for your mind to be, if you’re wishing them dead, you can be sure they’re wishing you dead," the comedian said. "You want a real war. Liberals, really? You think you’re going to win the I Want You Dead War? You’re not. You’re going to lose. They have way more guns and they know how to use them. And with all due respect, no one can do hate like a right wing conservative."

The left-wing comedian later concluded with an advice for his left-wing comrades. “You want to heal America? Shut the fuck up for a while.”
