It all started on Saturday when rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine(real name Daniel Hernandez) went on IG Live rant as he does sometimes. He talked about other rappers including Lil Durk, 600Breezy and Lil Reese.
The rainbow-haired rapper has been posting insults at the Chicago artists since the death of OTF member King Von, who was slain in November of 2020, outside of an Atlanta hookah restaurant.
Things escalated when Tekashi was in the middle of another rant against Lil Durk and his crew. Rapper 600Breezy -- who was apparently angry at Tekashi for mocking his late friend King Von --joined the IG Live and got in a heated exchange with him.
“You gonna die. You gonna fuckin die. I’ma go to jail respectfully,” 600 Breezy promised. "When I see you, respectfully I’m not Meek nigga. And you got to move around with security cuz you a bitch. Real street niggas don’t move with a team of security guards niggas. You gonna die. Your security guards better be strapped in all that. You gonna die.”
Tekashi didn't back down, he ratcheted up his rhetoric. "King Von can suck my dick, and rest in piss, you stupid bozo,” he said. 600Breezy was palpably fuming with rage. Rapper Lil Reese also joined the live stream and pointed a gun at Tekashi 69.'
The rainbow-haired rapper's comments triggered rappers who still see him as a 'snitch.' Tekashi was arrested on RICO charges but later cooperated with authorities and turned on the gangsters that kidnapped him. He snitched on high-ranking members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, to avoid a 40-year prison sentence.
He has private security guards at all times since leaving prison because of the threatening messages he receives from gang members and other rappers.
