Ye Blasts Rosenberg, Charlamagne; Defends NORE, Following Drink Champs Podcast Episode Deletion

Revolt TV on Tuesday, took down from their website and social media channels, the Drink Champs podcast episode featuring controversial interview with Ye(formerly Kanye West). “I support freedom of speech, I support anybody, you know, not being sensitive, but I do not support anybody being hurt… I apologize to the George Floyd famil," cohost N.O.R.E. said on Monday in a statement. "I apologize to anybody that was hurt by Kanye West’s comments.”

N.O.R.E. also took his apology tour on Monday to Hot 97 FM's show hosted by Peter Rosenberg and Ebro, and Power 105.1 FM's show hosted by Charlamagne Tha God and DJ envy. The hosts criticized the Drink Champs podcaster for giving Ye a platform in the first place.

Ye, 45, was asked about N.O.R.E. and the backlash, after leaving a studio in New York with his new girlfriend Juliana Nalú, 24.

“N.O.R.E. is my brother," the fashion mogul said in the video published Tuesday by Daily Mail. "He’s under a lot of pressure. If you look at the first thing it says – ‘N.O.R.E. does an interview with Rosenberg.’ What’s the exact thing I was saying? I said the Jewish media controls so many things.” He's apparently referencing the fact that Hot 97 host is Jewish.

“It’s not all the Jewish people, but there’s specifically Jewish people in media that are in power that try to… they’ve bought the Black voice, but they haven’t been able to buy my voice," Ye continued. "So instead they blackball me, they threaten people to not interview me.”

He suggested that hip hop podcaster DJ Akademiks(real name Livingston Allen), and far-left radio talking heads like Charlamagne and Rosenberg, are cowards who don't want to 'rock the boat,' by speaking their mind.

“Jewish media, Black media, trauma culture, trauma economy -- the stuff that Charlamagne Tha God works for. The stuff that Rosenberg works for… The guys that Akademiks… You gotta understand. All these people that y’all are listening to out here, I’m gonna tell y’all, they’re getting their checks cut,” Ye said.

The hip hop mogul revealed that N.O.R.E. acknowledged over a phone call with him that he was stunned by, and unprepared for the political backlash triggered by the Drink Champs episode. In other words he and Revolt TV caved to pressure from the 'woke' mob.
