Fareed Zakaria Rips Bernie Sanders Big Lie About Economic System In Northern Europe

The socialist democrat and presidential candidate known for his angry rants against the rich, railed against 'millionaires' until he himself became one. Recently he rails against against 'billionaires.'

Sanders refers to Nordic countries like Sweden and Denmark whenever he is asked to explain his socialist vision for the United states. He would tout their market and healthcare systems as a great model.

Critics have pointed out that the socialist Senator is either utterly ignorant of the system in Northern Europe or he is outright lying to his mostly uninformed young white far left fans.

On Sunday's edition of his show 'GPS,' Fareed Zakaria charged that "Sanders vision of the Scandinavian countries seems to be stuck in the nineteen sixties and seventies."

Zakaria rightly pointed out that Sweden indeed tried Sanders-style socialism in the 1970s with catastrophic results. The Swedes had to reverse course and embraced free market system before they recovered from the ill-advised experiment. Many Scandinavian politicians have in fact admonished the socialist senator for calling them socialists.

Zakaria referring to Sanders' absurd tweet that "billionaires should not exist," pointed out that "Sweden and Norway both have more billionaires per capita than the United States."

On Sanders' universal healthcare vision, Zakaria pointed out that for a country like Denmark to barely sustain such system, the government impose high tax burden which disproportionately hurt the poor.

The middle class in America pay significantly more tax than those in Sanders' Scandinavian utopia. Their businesses deal with far less regulations than American businesses have to deal with.

The estate or wealth tax in Scandinavian countries is far less than America's.

This shows that the socialist senator and his allies like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are utterly ignorant. They are clueless. Yet many uninformed and lazy millennials continue to support these socialist cranks.

Economists have warned that policies espoused by socialists like Sanders and UK's Labor Leader Jeremy Corbyn, will destroy western economies and bring western nations to their 'knees before the Chinese.'
