FLYNN Asks Appeal Court To Intervene Against Controversial Judge

Keneci Channel.

The former National Security Adviser on Tuesday, filed a petition with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia seeking a “writ of mandamus” to compel Judge Emmet Sullivan to dismiss the charges against him.

Sullivan last week, disregarded the Department of Justice  (DOJ) request to dismiss its case against Flynn. In a controversial ruling last week, the Judge invited amicus briefs from outside groups, including liberal partisan group calling itself “Watergate Prosecutors.” Sullivan also appointed retired liberal activist judge John Gleeson to argue against DOJ's request to dismiss the case.

Flynn's lawyer in a well cited and detailed filing, objected forcefully to the Judge's ruling and conduct in thecase.
