Ron DeSantis Introduces The 'Stop WOKE Act;' Slams Cultural Marxism

The Florida governor at a press conference in Wildwood, Wednesday, announced the 'Stop Wrongs Against Our Kids And Employees' Act, a bill which if passed by the state legislature, will tackle racist so-called critical race theory, CRT, indoctrination of kids in schools, and anti-white racist policies in the workplace.

The proposed legislation would allow parents and teachers to sue schools, and employees to sue employers who make them participate in policies or teaching involving the principles of CRT.

Under the legislation, CRT training would be considered an “unlawful employment practice,” making it “clear that corporations and public sector employers violate the Florida Civil Rights Act when they subject their employees to training that espouses race or sex stereotyping or scapegoating including critical race theory.”

Speaking at the press conference, DeSantis slammed divisive far-left woke ideology.

"What we're seeing with wokeness is an attempt to delegitimize our institutions and our history," the governor said. "I view it as cultural Marxism. Of course the Left wants to raise taxes and all that, and it's not good...but they really want to tear at the fabric of our society."

Other speakers at the press conference including Hispanic and black Americans, also decried the propagation of woke ideology in schools and by corporations.
