Trump Triggers Leftists By Correctly Naming The Wuhanvirus

Keneci Channel.

Leftists are as usual in a collective 'meltdown' on social media over a tweet by President Trump Monday night.

In a tweet announcing that his administration will help the airlines industry mitigate the financial costs they will incur because of the Wuhanvirus pandemic the President rightly called the virus - Chinese virus.

Trump wrote, "The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!"

This triggered many leftists who seem to 'camp out' on his twitter timeline 24/7 dreading his next triggering tweets.

Eugene Gu @Eugenegu lashed out fast and gloomy, "There it is. I’ve been deathly afraid of this exact moment where Trump turns to racism and xenophobia and calls COVID-19 the “Chinese Virus.” We are in deep trouble as a nation now that President of the United States makes the conscious decision to go down this dark path of hate."

As usual it escalates to accusations of racism quickly.

David Rothschild @DavMicRot tweeted, "Cool, back to the racism again. That will stop this virus!"

Polly Sigh @dcpoll wrote, "The Chinese virus? You ignorant racist. People are dying of the coronavirus in this country and our economy is tanking because of your stupidity."

Many chinese bots and apologists flooded the replies to the President's tweet.

Dylan Xia @Xia_Dylan tweeted, "You are nothing but a racist, you don't care the health of US people but let them be, you are absolutely not qualified to be a president of USA, you should have packaged your stuff and left the White House."

Former actress and Mia Farrow @MiaFarrow wrote, "Its called the Coronavirus and its now as American as apple pie so stop racist comments."

There are more unhinged tweets and there are ones which I'm sure those who wrote them think they are smart.

Scott Santens @scootsantens wrote, "The entire reason the medical community named the virus SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes COVID-19 is to prevent what you just did. What matters is the virus and its effects, not any country of origin. Stop making things worse by doing the opposite of what's recommended."

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO chimed in "Kind quick reminder: viruses have no nationality. The fight against #coronavirus needs science, not stigma. It calls for facts, not fear. Together, we will defeat #COVID19.

America funds UNESCO, against the opposition of many Americans who are unhappy with corrupt international organizations wasting their hard earned 'tax dollars.'

Santens and UNESCO must be unaware of any other virus named after its place of origin?

Responding to UNESCO, Raju Das @rajudasonline tweeted, "Viruses have no nationality but they have origin, and pathogens and diseases have been named after places of origin for a long time. Just few examples: Japanese Encephalitis, German Measles, Spanish Flu, West Nile Virus, Guinea Worm, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Lyme Disease."

On his show Monday night on Fox News Channel, Tucker Carlson called out the chinese. "The coronavirus is a chinese virus no matter what they're telling you. It originated in China," Carlson said.

Chinese regime officials have recently started a disinformation campaign spreading the conspiracy theory that US military is the source of the Wuhanvirus.

US secretary of state Mike Pompeo admonished Yang Jiechi the chinese official who has been spreading the conspiracy on social media.

Republican lawmakers have started calling it the Chinese Wuhan virus as the mainstream media talking heads initially called it.
