Don Lemon's Climate Alarmist Propaganda On Hurricane Ian, Shutdown By Head Of National Hurricane Center

Acting Director of US National Hurricane Center Jamie Rhome joined the far-left CNN host Tuesday, to give an update on Hurricane Ian which is ravaging parts of Florida.

Don Lemon started by noting that meteorologists have said Hurricane Ian could enter "another period of rapid intensification" and asked Rhome what effect climate change had has on the "phenomena."

Rhome was not having it. "We can come back and talk about climate change at a later time," he told Lemon. "I want to focus on the here and now. We think the rapid intensification is probably almost done. There could be a little bit more intensification as it's still over the warm waters of the eastern Gulf of Mexico, but I don't think we’re going to get any more rapid intensification."

Apparently miffed and undeterred, Lemon again tried to get the Acting Director to link the hurricane to left-wing climate change propaganda. "Listen, I’m just trying to get, you said you want to talk about climate change," he said. "But what effect does climate change have on this phenomenon that is happening now? Because it seems these storms are intensifying. That’s the question"

Responding, Rhome explained to Lemon that it's ridiculous to link Hurrican Ian to some sort of global man-made climate change phenomenon.

"I don’t think you can link climate change to any one event," the Acting Director said. "On the whole, on the cumulative, climate change may be making storms worse. But to link it to any one event, I would caution against that."

Some scientists have also pointed out that severe weather conditions have occurred in the past, and that such events are more noticeable now because of the material cost of the impact on cities which are more developed than in the past when there was less infrastructure on the path of such hurricanes to destroy.
