After landing on the White House grounds, the president walked out on the balcony overlooking the South Lawn, surrounded by American flags, and saluted military officers and Marine One as it lifted off.

In a video he posted on social media after his return to the white house, Trump said he "learned so much about the coronavirus."

He urged Americans, "don't let it dominate you; you're going to beat it." He encouraged Americans to go about their lives, because "we have the best medicines in the world."

Earlier in the day, the president teased his return to the White House in a tweet writing: "I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!"

Trump also tweeted: "Will be back on the Campaign Trail soon!!! The Fake News only shows the Fake Polls."

According to the president's physician Dr Sean Conley at a press conference earlier in the day, "The president may not entirely be out of the woods yet, [but his] clinical status supports the president’s safe return home," where he said he will continue to receive "world class medical care."

Conley said that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, HIPPA, prevents him from discussing some details about the president's health.

Other White House staff who have tested positive for wuhanvirus at this point include senior adviser Hope Hicks, press secretary Kayleigh McEnany and director of Oval Office operations Nick Luna. Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien and former counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway also tested positive for wuhanvirus.

[UPDATE] Trump Transferred To Walter Reed Medical Center After Testing Positive For Wuhanvirus

The White House in a statement Friday evening, said the president is being taken to the premier Bethesda Naval Hospital, "out of an abundance of caution."

"At the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days," White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in the statement. "President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the First Lady."

Wearing a suit and tie, and a face mask, Trump was seen walking out of the White House and across the South Lawn toward Marine One. He gave his signature thumbs-up as he walked out, with White House chief of staff Mark Meadows walking behind him.

The president, upon arrival to the hospital, posted a pre-recorded video on Twitter, thanking Americans. "I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support. I am going to Walter Reed Hospital," Trump said in the video. "I think I'm doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out ... The first lady is doing very well. So thank you very much. I appreciate it. I will never forget it. Thank you."

Earlier Friday, the president’s physician Dr. Sean P. Conley released an update on the president's condition. “Following PCR-confirmation of the President’s diagnosis, as a precautionary measure he received a single 8-gram dose of Regeneron’s polyclonal antibody cocktail,” Conley stated in a memo. "He completed the infusion without incident. In addition to the polyclonal antibodies, the President has been taking zinc, Vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and a daily aspirin. As of this afternoon, the President remains fatigued but in good spirts.

"He’s being evaluated by a team of experts, and together we’ll be making recommendations to the President and First Lady in regards to next best steps."

Conley added that the first lady "remains well with only a mild cough and headache, and the remainder of the First Family are well and tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 today."
