Left-wing globalists and world leaders held up Germany as world's solar and wind energy capital. global warming alarmists warn that if the rest of the world doesn't follow the European nation's lead, humanity will die off in "12 years."
But nature apparently has a way to remind the global warmists of the reality on the ground, what with the winter snow pouring down in Europe and America.
In Germany, millions of solar panels are blanketed in snow and ice and breathless, freezing weather is encouraging its 30,000 wind turbines to do absolutely nothing, at all.
The result, rolling blackouts and people freezing to death.
After years of being the object of consternation and much vilification over the last 20 years, Germany’s coal-fired plants are now being appreciated for what they are: truly meaningful power generation sources, available on demand, whatever the weather. With a Nationwide blackout a heartbeat away, the German obsession with unreliable wind and solar is like a time bomb set to explode.
What do American left-wing politicians think about the German mess? "Hold my bear," you can almost hear them say.
From 'Green New Deal' mastermind, congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez to corrupt Biden's global warming czar John Kerry, the mantra is Paris accord: "global warming is the greatest threat; give us more taxpayer money to fly around the world in private jets and attend conferences with Hollywood weirdos."
Enter the state of Texas, the largest exporter of natural gas and oil in the United States. Former U.S. president Barack Obama and Democrat governors have for years pushed policies which forced many electric power companies to introduce more green energy sources like windmills and solar panels into the power grids across the country.
This year's winter in Texas is unusual and biting -- winter storm delivering heavy snow, ice and temperatures so low they broke records.
The bad news? They don't have electricity. The windmills froze, so the power grid failed. Millions of Texans woke up Monday morning having to boil their water because with no electricity, it couldn't be purified.
Fox news' Tucker Carlson on his show Monday, slammed the tone-deaf green energy pushed by Democrat politicians.
Carlson said in part
"Some Texans almost certainly did freeze to death. Later this week, we'll likely learn just how many more were killed as they tried to keep warm with jury-rigged heaters and barbecues and car exhaust.
But who saw that coming in Texas?
There are huge natural gas deposits all over the state. Running out of energy in Texas is like starving to death at the grocery store: You can only do it on purpose, and Texas did.
Rather than celebrate and benefit from their state's vast natural resources, politicians took the fashionable route and became recklessly reliant on so-called alternative energy, meaning windmills. Fifteen years ago, there were virtually no wind farms in Texas. Last year, roughly a quarter of all electricity generated in the state came from wind.
So it was all working great until the day it got cold outside. The windmills failed like the silly fashion accessories they are, and people in Texas died."
Carlson also slammed Democrat politicians who cannot run their cities and states properly, but claim to have the best answers on the global warming hoax.
