Thugs Firebomb Manchester United Chief's House

Keneci Channel

Gang of hooded hooligans descended on the Cheshire mansion of embattled Manchester United Chief Ed Woodward. The gang of about 20 thugs fire-bombed the grounds of the mansion and aimed projectiles at the property. They also spray-painted the gate to the mansion.

The furious fans were reportedly protesting the leadership of Ed Woodward. They accuse him of putting profit off the pitch over performance of the team on it.

Ed Woodward, his wife and twin daughters were not at home during the incident.

In a statement, "the club said, Fans expressing opinion is one thing, criminal damage and intent to endanger life is another. There is simply no excuse for this." The statement also reads “Anybody found guilty of a criminal offence, or found to be trespassing on this property, will be banned for life by the club and may face prosecution."

Cheshire Police said they're trying to track down the culprits. A spokeswoman said, "Thankfully no-one was harmed, and officers will liaise with security officials over the coming days to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and identify those involved."

This is not the first time such ridiculous attack against a soccer club chief or player has happened.
