Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night edition of of his show, exposed the utter hypocrisy of the mainstream media.
According to Carlson, Politico a US opinion website entered into a "so-called content partnership with the South China Morning Post." Morning Post is an English language newspaper owned by the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba. Alibaba is run by a communist party member.
Like all major Chinese companies, AliBaba is required by the country's 2017 national intelligence law to assist and cooperate with China's government, spy agencies. "That's Politico's partner," Carlson said.
Tucker Carlson compares how Morning Post and some US news organizations covered the Hong Kong protests. While US news organizations correctly described it as civil protests, a Morning Post headline read 'Rampaging mobs staged an arson spree in Hong Kong.'
Carlson exclaimed "It was state propaganda staged on behalf of the Chinese government,...[but] Politico ran the entire thing, ran it without comment, like it was entirely real."
Carlson said that Politico is apparently happy to help the Chinese government spread it's propaganda.
