CNN announced this week that it's firing host Brian Stelter and will be canceling his low-rated show Reliable Sources. The network's new chief Chris Licht who is reportedly 'cleaning house,' informed the far-left host of the decision Wednesday.

“CNN will end its Reliable Sources program on Sunday, August 21st,” a spokesperson for the network said in a statement. “As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors.” The network will reportedly lay off the program's entire staff.

Stelter, 37, who is known for his hypocritical, hyper-partisan and ridiculous commentary is routinely mocked on social media for his obsession with Fox News hosts and shows. 'Mr Potato Head' briefly trended on Twitter following the news of his firing as critics brutally troll the fat host.

In a social media post Thursday, satirical media outlet Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon offered the far-left host a job. “Hey @brianstelter, would you be interested in working for the Bee?” Dillon wrote. “We’re looking for talent with experience putting out funny fake news. You come highly recommended. Shoot me a DM if you’re interested!”

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld also tweeted: “Yo @brianstelter – my show is hiring.”

Washington Examiner columnist Harry Khachatrian reacting to news of the firing, slammed the far-left host's "smug" character. “Brian Stelter was the most contemptible, vapid, and unbearably smug news-tv character of the past two decades.," he wrote on Twitter. "Good riddance. His departure has ameliorated cable news.”

A clip of popular media personality and Infowars host Alex Jones resurfaced on social media in which he hilariously slammed the far-left CNN host, calling him a "filthy... scumbag."
