The 56-year-old far-left executive in a company-wide email, announced that he's resigning from the controversial far-left outlet. Apparently executives at CNN's parent company Warner Media LLC, forced Zucker to resign after they discovered he did not disclose his relationship with EVP and Chief Marketing Officer Allison Gollust.

The inappropriate sexual relationship was exposed as part of the investigation into disgraced ex-CNN host Chris Cuomo and his brother former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, both facing sexual misconduct allegations among other allegations.

"As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo's tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years,"Zucker wrote to staff. "I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn't. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today."

Gollust, who will apparently keep her job. previously served as communications director for Andrew Cuomo. According to her CNN profile "she started at [leftwing media outlet] NBC in the Corporate Communications group in 1996 and was named senior publicist for Today in 1997," the same year Matt Lauer was named co-host of the Today Show. Lauer himself was kicked out of NBC after facimng multiple sexual allegations from several colleagues.

Following news of Zucker's resignation Wednesday, many media talking heads and former CNN employees reacting on social media, said there must be another more serious reason why he was forced to resign. Apparently his relationship with Gollust was an open secret in the media industry.

The news follows other revelations of sexual misconduct allegations against other CNN employees --including 'zoom masturbator' Jeffrey Toobin, Don Lemon and Jake Tapper and Chris Cuomo producers.

WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar has announced 3 "interim co-heads" in a memo to staff. Michael Bass, Amy Entelis and Ken Jautz will lead CNN in the interim while there is a search for a permanent leader to succeed Zucker effective immediately.

“I have full confidence that Michael, Amy and Ken, as interim heads for News, will provide the leadership this organization needs during this time of transition,” said Kilar.
