Elon Musk Slams Unhinged Left-wing Opposition To His Twitter Acquisition

In the 24 hours following the news of Twitter agreeing to sell itself to the SpaceX and Tesla CEO, Monday, leftists globally have been having emotional meltdowns because he promises to allow free speech on the platform when he formally takes over the company in a few months.

Left-wing politicians and bureaucrats in Brussels and Washington D.C. have railed against the deal, panicked over the prospect of the world's richest man ending their corrupt practice of censoring citizens and promoting left-wing propaganda via big tech.

Far-left talking heads and 'journos' at CNN and other media outlets, are also having a collective meltdown. Twitter is like their play ground where they smear -- and call for deplatforming of -- critics.

Overwhelming majority of Twitter employees are leftists and 99% of them donate to the Democrat Party. During an all-hands meeting on Monday, video of which was leaked by Project Veritas on Tuesday, CEO Parag Agrawal and board chair Bret Taylor, tried to reassure the employees who were having a collective emotional meltdown following the announcement of Musk's acquisition of the company. The executives fielded questions for about 45 minutes, from the employees who were panicked over Musk's acquisition of the company. Apparently they fear losing their power to censor conservatives on the platform.

Twitter lawyer and top censorship advocate Vijaya Gadde reportedly cried during a virtual meeting with the policy and legal teams shortly after the announcement of the company's deal with Musk.

Gadde was apparently concerned about how the company could change under Musk's leadership. She was involved in the decision to ban former President Donald Trump from the platform; and the decision to remove all political advertising before the 2020 presidential election in the United States.

Musk must have been watching the reactions to his Twitter acquisition in the past 24 hours. “The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all,” the SpaceX CEO tweeted Tuesday.

The 50-year-old later explained his idea of free speech. "By 'free speech,' I simply mean that which matches the law," he wrote. "I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law. If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people."

Musk also criticized Twitter's controversial suppression of the Hunter Biden's New York Post story in 2020. Polls showed a significant percentage of voters would have been less likely to vote for Joe Biden in that year's presidential election, if they had heard about the story.

Responding to podcaster Saagar Enjeti's tweet about Gadde and her involvement in suppressing the Hunter Biden story, Musk wrote: "Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate."

Apparently one Twitter employee in a since deleted tweet thought it was wise to challenge Musk. "That's not what happened," 'Connor Campbell'(@ConnorC94096361) wrote. "Twitter had a policy about hacked document. We applied this policy equally. The merits of that policy are debatable but it wasn't targeted censorship."

'Connor' has since deleted his Twitter account entirely.

Interesting times ahead for the left-wing employees at Twitter.
