Russell Brand YouTube Channel Demonetized Following Sexual Assault Allegation Hit Pieces Against The British Comedian By Left-wing Media Outlets

YouTube this week, removed British comedian and podcaster Russell Brand from its ads revenue-sharing program following seemingly coordinated smear hit pieces by left-wing media outlets alleging the former Hollywood actor and British media personality sexually assaulted multiple women more than a decade ago. The streaming giant announced Tuesday that it had suspended monetization for his channel, citing the content creator’s "off-platform behavior" violating the platform's policy.

The streaming giant's decision prevents Brand from earning revenue that comes from advertisements embedded in YouTube videos, the main way content creators make money on the platform. "We have suspended monetization on Russell Brand's channel for violating our creator responsibility policy. If a creator's off-platform behavior harms our users, employees or ecosystem, we take action to protect the community," YouTube said in its official statement.

The company's decision cuts off a source of income for Brand. His publisher, management agency and charities he's affiliated with, have also reportedly severed ties with him over the unproven allegations.

In what appears to be a blatantly coordinated hitjob on Brand, several far-left media outlets, including The Times and Channel 4, published stories about four women who accused the former British mainstream media personality of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013.

The allegations were hilariously and aptly summarized in a viral X post by MMA fighter Jake Shields: "Here is a breakdown of the sexual assault allegations against Russell Brand 1. Dated for 3 months but because she was young (but legal) she laterdecided it was rape 2. Had been sleeping with her but invited her over for a threesome and she was jealous so thats rape 3. Was in his room so he kissed her and tried to take off her clothes. She told him to stop and he did 4. He had sex with for six months but he did lots of kinky sex. She never said no but thought she didn't want to do it so its rape None of the girls will give their real name."

In a video posted to his Rumble channel last Friday, Brand said that his relationships with these women were "consensual" and called the claims "very serious criminal allegations," which he blasted as a "litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks" against him.

The comedian added he has always been "transparent" with the consensual nature of his relationships, and said, "To see that transparency metastasized into something criminal, that I absolutely deny, makes me question: is there another agenda at play?"

Since the hit pieces were reported, Brand has reportedly lost his book deal with Pan Macmillan, and had dates for his ‘Bipolarisation’ tour postponed. Content featuring the British media personality have been deleted by several left-wing outlets including among others, the BBC, The Daily Mail, and U.K.’s Channel 4 which reportedly said Tuesday, "We have taken down content featuring Russell Brand from our streaming service while we look into this matter. This includes the Celebrity Bake Off episode."

Critics point out that this type of coordinated smear campaign only targets personalities who oppose globalist left-wing agenda of total fascistic control and crony capitalism.

Brand, a leftist himself, has a large and growing following across social media platforms. He appears in recent years, to have taken the memetic proverbial red pill. His videos mostly consist of critiquing government, corporate power structures, big pharmaceutical companies, western policy on the Ukraine-Russia war, and bias in the media. He encourages his audience to embrace critical thinking when it comes to mainstream news stories.

Prominent people -- like Tesla and SpaceX chief Elon Musk, internet personality Andrew Tate, and popular ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson -- who are routinely the target of hit pieces by left-wing media outlets, spoke out against the anti-Brand smear campaign.

"Criticize the drug companies, question the war in Ukraine, and you can be pretty sure this is going to happen," Carlson writes on X.

"I support Russell Brand. That man is not evil," declared Musk, who added in a later X post that "enough is enough" regarding cancel culture and witch hunts against people who oppose left-wing political and social agenda. "How did most of the legacy media go from superheroes of free speech to supervillains of speech suppression?" he asked in another post.
