Boston Dynamics' Herd Of Truck-Hauling Robot Dogs

Keneci Channel

Does Boston Dynamics CEO just sit around with his team plotting how to freak out the masses every few months? Ha! Their recent video wowed with their SpotMini robots hauling a box truck, five pairs of SpotMini robots working together like sled dogs.

The battery-operated SpotMini is two feet nine inches tall, has seventeen joints and weighs about sixty six pounds. It interacts with its environment through a system of sensors and 3D vision. A SpotMini can carry a thirty one pound payload.

AND?

According to BD founder Marc Raibert, SpotMini is designed to be small enough to fit inside an office space, warehouse, and can be deployed in the construction, security, home assistance and delivery industries.

SO?

As usual with many BD videos, many were either freaked out wowed or made to wonder about the future of humanity on earth. Are humans going to be completely replaced by these mechanical "aliens" among us. Ok just kidding!
