The 30-year-old rapper real name Belcalis Almanzar, was involved in two brawls at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York, in August 2018.

In one incident, chairs, bottles and hookah pipes were thrown as Cardi B and her entourage argued with a bartender -- who along with another employee sustained minor injuries.

The two bartenders had alleged that the Grammy-winning rapper directed her associates to attack them with chairs and bottles.

However, in a 2019 grand jury indictment, Cardi B pleaded not guilty to two felony charges for attempted assault with intent to cause bodily injury. She also pleaded not guilty to a variety of misdemeanor charges, including harassment and reckless endangerment.

According to prosecutors, Cardi B and her entourage were targeting employees of the club over an apparent personal dispute.

The court met in December 2019 to discuss whether previous social media posts indicated that the attack was premeditated. But Facebook and Instagram denied subpoenas for the content requested.

Cardi B resolved the case Thursday, by pleading guilty. She agreed to a conditional discharge just as her case was about to go to trial.

In a deal that requires her to perform 15 days of community service, the New York City native pleaded guilty to third degree assault and reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors. Ten other counts, including two felonies, were dismissed. Two co-defendants also pleaded guilty.

“No one is above the law,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement. “In pleading guilty today, Ms. Belcalis Almanzar and two co-defendants have accepted responsibility for their actions. This Office is satisfied with the resolution, which includes appropriate community service.”

Cardi B in a statement said, “Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions. As a mother, it’s a practice that I am trying to instill in my children, but the example starts with me.”

The WAP singer and wife of rapper Offset added, “I’ve made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to. These moments don’t define me and they are not reflective of who I am now. I’m looking forward to moving past this situation with my family and friends and getting back to the things I love the most -- the music and my fans.”

The foul-mouthed rapper also tweeted, “Puuuurrrrrr,” along with four photos of herself in her courtroom attire: A white bodycon dress and large shades.

Cardi B who critics say has corrupting influence on young women, faced backlash in 2019, when she revealed that she drugged and robbed men in the past.
