Liberal business news outlet Wall Street Journal recently reported that the SpaceX CEO allegedly had an affair with Nicole Shanahan 37, the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin 48, during the Art Basel event in Miami, Florida. The affair reportedly occurred while the couple were separated but still living together.

Brin is worth $95 billion and has a 3-year-old daughter with Shanahan.

WSJ reported that Brin filed for divorce from his wife, in January after learning that Musk was sleeping with her in December. The divorce filing in Santa Clara County Superior Court reportedly cites "irreconcilable differences."

Shanahan, is reportedly seeking $1 billion, far more than she is entitled under her prenuptial agreement. But her lawyers say she signed the prenuptial agreement under duress while pregnant with their daughter.

WSJ also alleged in the report that the affair ruined Musk's friendship with Brin, and that he dropped to one knee at a recent event, and pleaded with the Google co-founder for forgiveness.

Musk 51, denied the allegations. "This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night!" Musk tweeted Sunday. "I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic."

He also claimed he hasn't “even had sex in ages (sigh).”

The Tesla chief slammed the liberal outlet, saying they ran with the story on "third-party random hearsay."

"WSJ is supposed to have a high standard for journalism and, right now, they are way sub tabloid," Musk tweeted. "WSJ should be running stories that actually matter to their readers and have solid factual basis, not third-party random hearsay."

Earlier Monday  the world's richest man told New York Post via email: “I wouldn’t get on my knees and beg for anyone.” He sent the outlet a photo of himself partying with Brin, saying he “Took this pic only two hours ago.”

“Nicole and Sergey’s divorce has absolutely nothing to do with me,” Musk insisted in the email to NYP. “I am sure both Nicole and Sergey would confirm that. I spoke with both Sergey and Nicole about this and they say the story isn’t coming from them, so [it] must be a case of broken telephone, two or three layers removed.”

Musk recently fathered twins with Shivon Zilis, a senior executive of one of his companies, Neuralink. The Tesla CEO has 9 children and as his social media posts show, he believes the more children the better.

Shanahan a daughter of Chinese immigrants, is an attorney and research fellow at CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics. She founded ClearAccessIP, a Palo Alto-based firm that helps patent owners manage and monetize their intellectual property rights. It was acquired by rival IPwe in 2020.
