Elon Musk In Babylon Bee Interview, Slams Wokeness, CNN & Elizabeth Warren

During an appearance on satirical podcast Babylon Bee, published Tuesday, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO slammed left-wing "wokeness" and 'cancel culture,' and its negative effect in society.

“Generally I think we should be aiming for a positive society and it should be okay to be humorous,” Musk said. “Wokeness basically wants to make comedy illegal, which is not cool...."

The billionaire CEO was apparently not happy with the effort by left-wing online mob to 'cancel' Dave Chappelle because of his LGBTQ jokes.

“I mean Chappelle?” Musk said. “What the fuck? Trying to shut down Chappelle? C’mon man. That’s crazy!”

"Do we want a humorless society that is simply rife with condemnation and hate, basically?" he asked. "At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically gives mean people a shield to be cruel, armored in false virtue.”

The Tesla CEO who seems to be a fan of Babylon Bee, said he used to enjoy another satirical outlet The Onion before the left-wing outlet got the "woke virus" and stopped being funny. “It used to be very funny and then it was not that funny,” he said.

Musk mocked far-left media outlet CNN during a conversation about "pointless" companies that "should probably be disbanded."

The BB co-hosts joked they didn’t feel qualified to interview the SpaceX CEO. "You can be on CNN right now," co-host Kyle Mann quipped.

"I’m not perverted enough, I guess," Musk responded, referencing a satirical BB headline that mocked CNN and drawing laughs from the co-hosts.

CNN has struggled through a series of high-profile scandals in recent months. The outlet famously welcomed back their legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin after he was terminated from his other job for masturbating on a Zoom call in front of colleagues.

The far-left outlet was also forced to fire star anchor Chris Cuomo, after months of protecting him at all costs, when it was revealed he played a key role in protecting his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, amid an onslaught of sexual misconduct claims.

In recent weeks, two CNN employees were also exposed as pedophiles. John Griffin was arrested by the FBI after being charged with shocking sex crimes with girls as young as nine years old. And Project Veritas exposed Rick Saleeby who was captured in a video recording fantasizing about having sexual intercourse with an underage daughter of a woman he's supposedly having an affair with.

Musk also talked about his Twitter squabble with far-left Democrat senator, Elizabeth Warren(D-Mass.). The senator suggested the Tesla CEO does not pay his fair share of tax, and that he is "freeloading off everyone else." To which, Musk responded by calling her “Senator Karen."

The billionaire CEO said Warren “struck first.”

“Yes, she did actually call me a freeloader and a grifter who doesn’t pay taxes," Musk said. "I’m literally paying the most tax that any individual in history has ever paid this year, ever, and she doesn’t pay taxes, basically. And her taxes and salary is paid for by the taxpayer like me. If you could die by irony, she would be dead.”

The Tesla CEO is apparently not a fan of the metaverse which other tech companies like Meta and Microsoft are all excited about.

“I don’t know if I necessarily buy into all this metaverse stuff,” Musk admitted. He thinks “we’re far from disappearing into the metaverse... It sounds just kind of buzzwordy.”

Sorry UFO and space alien fans, the SpaceX CEO is not convinced of the existence of extraterrestrial life. “If anyone would know about evidence of aliens it would be me, and I’ve seen nothing,” Musk claimed.

He also thinks he will die before the red planet Mars “becomes a self-sustaining civilization.”
