“I want to be with you,” Shannon Hall, 31, a teacher at Jamaica Gateway to the Sciences High School on Gothic Drive in Queens, New York, texted the teen on May 24, according to police. He had also exchanged texts with the minor in the past.

Hall claimed he had been drunk at the time when the teen confronted him at school the next day. But he didn't stop texting.

According to prosecutors, over the next week, Hall sent "multiple text messages" expressing his desire to kiss, grope and have sex with the student. He also said he wanted to "walk on the beach with her" and "smoke with her." He added that, “If she showed anyone the messages she would be dead.”

Officials at the school, called police after the teen complained about Hall, who was off-duty when he was arrested Thursday evening, and charged with aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Hall has been released without bail, awaiting arraignment in court.

“This alleged behavior is completely unacceptable and will be fully investigated,” Department of Education spokeswoman Jenna Lyle said. “This employee has been reassigned away from the school and students pending the outcome of the arrest and if convicted, we will pursue his termination. There is nothing more important than the safety and well-being of our students.”

CONFLICTS ▪ CRIME

The unidentified man was driving a black SUV on North Ocean Boulevard and 19th Street on Thursday evening, when his girlfriend started performing oral sex on him. Distracted by pleasure from the blow job action, he "lost control," and crashed his vehicle into a FedEx van around 7pm, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials.

On impact with the van, the girlfriend who was also practically naked in the car, accidentally bit down hard on her lover's penis. Of course. She reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Photos of the crash show significant damage to both vehicles. The couple was found half-naked in their SUV and can be seen in photos laying on the ground.

The man appears to be in pain as officers gather around him while he laid on his back. The woman, who had her jeans around her ankles, laid face down on the pavement in nothing but her underwear and a white tank top.

The two passengers in the FedEx vehicle were said to be fine and sustained mild injuries.

Fire Rescue officials confirmed the woman inside the SUV had been performing oral sex on the male driver. So far, no one has been charged.

Silfredo Castillo Martinez, 32, who worked at Lina's Garden Day Care in The Bronx, New York City, for more than a decade, was arrested for possessing multiple images depicting child pornography, according to police.

One of the alleged victims which appears in one of Martinez' child porn videos was a 12-year-old who attended the day care center. The suspect lives in the same building as the day care center, with the capacity to care for 12 children between 6 weeks and 12 years old, as well as four additional school-aged children.

Cyber crime investigators suspect the daycare worker has been dealing in child porn since July 2011, when he first began working at the center.

"It’s sickening," one parent with children at the center told The Daily New. "I trusted him. I really did. I’m astonished. My kids have been in his day care for years. My son really loved him. He was in his after-school program, in the back. Every child in the day care loved him."

Martinez was charged with promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

The National Rifle Association(NRA) held its annual convention this past week, where speakers including former president Donald Trump, talked about the recent school shooting in Uvalde, and possible solutions to prevent such tragedies.

Discussing the events with his wife on his live podcast Friday, Klein at one point said: "Saw there was a big protest outside the NRA meeting which was good. Do we have any insight into what they’re actually talking about there at the NRA meeting that’s today in Texas? Someone should bomb that building."

The unhinged YouTuber throughout the over 3-hour podcast, also encourage his young mostly far-left audience to violently confront NRA supporters and conservative politicians. Founded in 1871 The NRA promotes marksmanship, individual gun rights and gun safety education.

"More people need to be getting loud, more people need to be getting angry, getting in people’s fucking faces," Klein said at one point.

He incited violence against paralyzed wheel-chair-bound Texas governor Greg Abbott. "I hope that someone puts a stick in his fucking wheelchair and he tumbles out of his seat…send Abbott down a hill with nobody to hold the back of his wheelchair," he said.

The far-left YouTuber routinely advocates for censorship of fellow YouTubers. Critics point out that the streaming platform permanently bans right-leaning commentators for merely discussing certain legitimate political issues which the left deem 'hate speech.'

In this case YouTube merely restricts Klein's video upload privileges for one week. Critics took to social media to call out YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki for her silence and blatant bias in handling the Klein's comments which obviously violates the streaming platform's rules.

TECH  ▪  SPACECRAFT

The uncrewed CST-100 returns to earth at about 2249 UTC, landing at White Sands Space Harbor at the U.S. Army’s White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

The spacecraft is returning with more than 600 pounds of cargo, including Nitrogen Oxygen Recharge System reusable tanks that provide breathable air to station crew members. The tanks will be refurbished on Earth and sent back to station on a future flight.

This marks the end of the up the six-day Orbital Flight Test-2, which will provide valuable data toward NASA certifying Boeing’s crew transportation system for regular flights with astronauts to and from the International Space Station.

The Fox News host was responding on his show Monday night, to a video clip of the far-left CNN host decrying conservatives for labeling the defunct Biden administration's Disinformation Governance Board(DGB) the “Ministry of Truth,” a reference to Orwell’s novel, 1984.

Carlson said Stelter(who he calls “eunuch” was “particularly exercised” by the Board’s former head, Nina Jankowicz, resigning from her position.

"He loved the idea of a Ministry of Truth, but why does he like that so much?" The Fox News host joked. "Well, then it hit us. Brian Stelter is in fact, assuming he’s a real person, basically lifted directly from the pages of 1984, the Orwell novel.”

Carlson read a passage of the novel describing the character Tom Parsons, a flack for the Ministry of Truth: “He was a fattish but active man of paralyzing stupidity, a mass of imbecile enthusiasms -- one of those completely unquestioning, devoted drudges on whom, more even than on the Though Police, the stability of the Party depended,” the quote read.

“No, we’re not saying that’s a perfect word, for word, for word description of someone who currently has a media analysis show on CNN,” Carlson joked. “We’re gonna let you judge, but in case you were wondering, is George Orwell a prophet? Yeah, clearly he was.”

Jankowicz has resigned from the DGB, and the Biden administration announced Wednesday, that the Department of Homeland Security has put a "pause" on the board following bipartisan opposition and online mockery.

SPACECRAFT

Thursday's launch is the second uncrewed flight test of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft for the company's Commercial Crew Program.

Boeing's spacecraft launched aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket on a demonstration flight that gets it one step closer to certification to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station(ISS).

The Orbital Flight Test-2 (OFT) launch is from Space Launch Complex-41 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. OFT-2 will demonstrate the end-to-end capabilities of the Starliner spacecraft and Atlas V rocket, from launch to docking with the ISS, to a return to Earth in the desert of the western United States.

JUSTICE

The Supreme Court Justice, at a conference in Dallas, Texas on Friday, also slammed the protests by far-left activists in front of the homes of his colleagues over the recent leak of the court's draft opinion. The conference was sponsored by American Enterprise Institute, the Manhattan Institute and the Hoover Institution.

During the Q&A, Thomas was asked by Berkeley law professor John Yoo about the importance of institutions and how they are affected by the leak.

“The institution that I’m a part of — If someone said that one line of one opinion would be leaked by anyone, and you would say that, Oh, that’s impossible," Thomas said. "No one would ever do that. There’s such a belief in the rule of law, belief in the court, a belief in what we were doing that that was verboten. It was beyond anyone’s understanding, or at least anyone’s imagination that someone would do that. And look where we are, where now that trust or that belief is gone forever."

He said that “what happened at the court is tremendously bad.”

Commenting on the protests that are taking place at the homes of the conservative Justices, Thomas said: “You would never visit Supreme Court justices’ houses when things didn’t go our way,” he said. “We didn’t throw temper tantrums. It is incumbent on us to always act appropriately, and not to repay tit for tat.”

In a company-wide email to employees Thursday, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal announced the firing of consumer product leader Kayvon Beykpour and head of revenue product Bruce Falck. The announcement comes as SpaceX and Tesla CEO works to complete transaction to buy the social media company.

Apparently Beykpour was told of his firing while on 'paternity leave.' “Interrupting my paternity leave to share some final [Twitter]-related news: I’m leaving the company after over 7 years,” He wrote in a lengthy Twitter thread Thursday. “The truth is that this isn’t how and when I imagined leaving Twitter, and this wasn’t my decision. Parag asked me to leave after letting me know that he wants to take the team in a different direction.”

Falck, the revenue product lead at Twitter, also said Agrawal fired him in a now-deleted tweet.

The company’s new head of product is Jay Sullivan, an ex-Facebook director who joined in November. He's also interim head of revenue product as the company is now beginning its search for a replacement for Falck.

Agrawal also announced a hiring freeze and cost cutting measures "to ensure we are being responsible and efficient."

Left-wing pro-abortion extremists have been rioting since the leak last week, of the draft opinion of the Supreme Court of The United States, overturning Roe v. Wade abortion ruling. Pro-abortion arsonists firebombed a pro-life center Wisconsin Family Action over the weekend.

Protesters besieged the homes of Supreme Court justices Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett and Samuel Alito -- with their young children terrified inside as the rioters scream and harass them. Alito who wrote the leaked draft opinion has reportedly been moved to an undisclosed.

Appearing on CNN Monday morning, far-left reporter Laura Jarrett -- daughter of former aide to Barack Obama -- downplayed the attacks on the justices.

Responding to host John Avlon's question about the arson attack in Wisconsin, Jarrett said: "I think for a lot of people a conversation about civility feels like it misses the mark when constitutional rights that you believed that you had for over 50 years are about to be overturned..."

Her remarks was roundly condemned online with many calling out the blatant hypocrisy on the far-left media outlet. CNN has given undue coverage to the discredited Democrat committee in congress, 'investigating' last year's January 6 Capitol protest. The network famously downplayed the violent Black Lives Matter riots in 2020.

The WBA light heavyweight champion's jabs against Alvarez, was on point throughout the fight Saturday, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

According to CompuBox, Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs), whose previous lone defeat came against Floyd Mayweather in 2013, connected on just 17% of his punches against Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) but was outlanded by a margin of 152 to 84.

Alvarez a four-division champion, landed a career-low 84 punches overall 12 rounds as Bivol relied on his defense and accurate punching to pull the upset via unanimous decision.

All three judges scored it 115-113 for Bivol in a fight that critics online say, appeared anything but competitive. Many say Alvarez was definitely out-boxed.

Since the announcement of his deal to acquire Twitter, the Tesla CEO has been triggering the left with his trollish tweets. He has inflamed leftists by promising to loosen censorship on the platform and embrace more free expression.

The SpaceX CEO in one of his recent tweets called out the ideological extremism of the "far-left."

Musk tweeted that the Democrat Party “has been hijacked by extremists.” In another tweet, he wrote "The far left hates everyone, themselves included!"

Apparently, the Tesla CEO's tweets triggered United States congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez(a.k.a. AOC) a far-left extremist herself. The New York Democrat on Friday, indirectly rebuked the world's richest man in a series of unhinged hyperbolic and nonsensical tweets.

AOC wrote in part: “Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special.”

Musk responded: “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy,” he wrote, adding a smiling emoji. The line appears to be a reference to when AOC said her Republican critics on the platform just wanted to date her.

Apparently taken aback by the Tesla CEO's viral tweet, AOC wrote: “I was talking about [Mark] Zuckerberg but ok,” she shot back before deleting the response about a minute later.

Critics online called out AOC for lying. Many pointed out that it's obvious from the content of the congresswoman's tweets that she was referring to Musk, without mentioning his name.

SPACE

During today's spacewalk, Expedition 67 Flight Engineers Oleg Artemyev and Denis Matveev of Roscosmos will be working on the activation of the new European robotic arm -- a 37-foot-long manipulator system mounted to the recently arrived Nauka module. This is a continuation of the work started during the last spacewalk on April 18.

The cosmonauts during today's spacewalk staged out of the Poisk module airlock, will monitor the first commanded movements of the robotic arm from its grapple fixtures after removing thermal blankets and launch locks. The arm’s end effectors will translate one at a time to a new base points. The crew also will install more handrails on Nauka.

The spacewalk which began at 1458 UTC is expected to last about six and half hours.

During the last spacewalk on April 18 the cosmonauts installed and connected a control panel for the robotic arm. They also removed protective covers from the arm and installed handrails on Nauka. The arm will be used to move spacewalkers and payloads around the Russian segment of the station.

Today's spacewalk is the second in this series of spacewalks to activate the European Robotic Arm. The April 18 spacewalk was also conducted by both Russians Artemyev and Matveev. The next spacewalk in this series will be conducted by Artemyev and Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency (ESA), who will arrive at the ISS on Crew-4.

This is also the fifth spacewalk at the International Space Station this year and the 250th for space station assembly, maintenance, and upgrades.

Twitter employees had a collective meltdown during an all-hands meeting with CEO Parag Agrawal and board chair Bret Taylor, following the announcement of the company's deal with Musk

In the video leaked to Project Veritas, the executives fielded questions for over 45 minutes, from the concerned employees who apparently fear they will lose their power to censor conservatives on the social media platform.

CULTURE

The "Individual Freedom" measure, prevents schools and corporations from "subjecting any student or employee to training or instruction that espouses, promotes, advances, inculcates, or compels such individual to believe specified concepts constitutes discrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin."

On Friday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the bill which was introduced last December, into law. The "Stop the Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees (WOKE) Act" or   "Stop WOKE Act" basically prohibits critical race theory from being imposed in classrooms and corporate settings.

"We're here today because we believe in education, not indoctrination," DeSantis said on Friday, before signing the measure. "We believe an important component of freedom in the state of Florida is the freedom from having oppressive ideologies opposed upon you without your consent. We are not going to use your tax dollars to teach your kids to hate this country or hate each other."

On Friday, the state of Florida released four examples from textbooks it has rejected from its school system amid concerns over the promotion of Critical Race Theory and common core principles.

The governor also signed into law on Friday, a bill dissolving Walt Disney's special self-governance privileges in the Reedy Creek Improvement District. The CEO of the entertainment giant under pressure from woke LGBTQ activists, vowed to aggressively seek to repeal the recently passed anti-groomer law which prohibits indoctrination of school children in sexual and transgender propaganda.

POLITICS

The Reedy Creek Improvement District, RCID, was originally signed into law in 1967, by another Republican, Gov. Claude Kirk Jr. The law gave Walt Disney a quasi-self-governing status over a 39 square-mile remote area of Central Florida's Orange and Osceola counties.

The law allows the entertainment giant to transact its own taxes and bonds, provide public services like police and fire, and regulate infrastructure atypical of normal businesses' relationship with municipal governments. It can even build its own nuclear power plant.

Long time critics of the decades-old law have pointed out that such special privileges is unfair to other theme parks and businesses in the state.

The extraordinary arrangement for a private company is coming to an end. The Florida Senate voted 23-16 Wednesday to remove the status and the Florida House followed suit in a 70-38 vote on Thursday.

Governor Ron DeSantis signed the bill on Friday, into law which will come into effect in a year's time, giving Mouse House time to lobby the state for a possible new arrangement?

Disney is poised to rank among the worst-performing stocks in 2022 down from its peak in March 2021, when it traded at nearly $200 per share. It has been in free fall ever since. As the market closed this week, the stock was hovering near $120 per share – down roughly 33% from a year ago.

At the bill signing ceremony, slammed Disney for its aggressive opposition to the recently passed anti-groomer law. "You’re a corporation based in Burbank, California, and you’re gonna marshal your economic might to attack the parents of my state," DeSantis said. "We view that as a provocation, and we’re going to fight back against that."

Disney CEO Bob Chapek, 61, was roundly criticized for how he handled the bill, with critics urging corporations to steer clear of woke culture wars. The entetainment giant has lost over $41 billion in market value since the controversy.

MEDIA

Incoming CNN President Chris Licht explained the decision to shutdown the nascent streaming service on April 30, at a staff meeting Thursday. CNN+ was launched on March 29.

While he reportedly offered sympathy to the network’s employees, Licht bluntly told them the CNN+ project was in a “uniquely shitty situation.” Hundreds of staffers will reportedly lose their jobs.

Licht said in an internal memo that “all CNN+ employees will continue to be paid and receive benefits for the next 90 days to explore opportunities at CNN, CNN Digital and elsewhere in the Warner Bros. Discovery family.”

Since the merger of Discovery and WarnerMedia earlier this month, the failing CNN's streaming service has been under scrutiny by Warner Bros. Discovery. CNN+ was the brainchild of disgraced ex-CNN chief Jeff Zucker.

Discovery streaming chief J.B. Perrette -- who along with Licht broke the news to CNN’s staff -- reportedly expressed frustration during the meeting, saying “Some of this was avoidable…[but] prior leadership decided to just keep going” with CNN+ before the WarnerMedia-Discovery merger, which led to questions about the service’s longevity.

Critics on social media roundly mocked the far-left network, with many wondering why the outlet launched a streaming service when few watch its main offering, CNN.

Many pointed out that the "go woke go broke" meme is becoming reality as viewers reject woke TV content. Netflix this week, announced it is on course to lose 2 million subscribers this quarter.

CRIME

The altercation reportedly occurred Wednesday night as the 55-year-old legendary boxer boarded a Florida-bound plane at San Francisco International Airport.

According to TMZ, a witness on the plane who said Tyson took a selfie with him, says the legendary fighter was initially cool with him and his friend. The friend who was apparently intoxicated and overly excited, kept talking and annoying the 55-year-old as he sat behind him.

Tyson eventually lost his cool and repeatedly punched the man in the face, bruising him. The legendary boxer reportedly walked off the plane after the incident.

San Francisco Police Department, SFPD reportedly told TMZ Sports, that officers detained two people they believed to be involved in the incident. One of the people was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and SFPD say that person "provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation."

Stelter and his CNN colleagues are routinely mocked online for their obsessive criticism of the more popular rival outlet Fox News which they accuse of spreading disinformation.

Freshman Christopher Phillips confronted the CNN host Thursday, during a Q&A at a University of Chicago summit titled 'Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy.'

Philips cited several fake news reports or disinformation pushed by CNN over the last 7 years, and then asked the far-left host:

"With mainstream corporate journalists becoming little more than apologists and cheerleaders for the regime, is it time to finally declare the cannon of journalistic ethics dead or no longer operative? All the mistakes of the mainstream media, in particular, seem to magically all go in one direction. Are we expected to believe that this is all just some sort of random coincidence or is there something else behind it?"

The podcaster is apparently coming around to recognizing how dangerous big tech censorship have become.

Laporte is normally far to the left in his political views. But in this discussion with unhinged far-leftists Jeff Jarvis and Joan Donovan, he became the voice of reason, rejecting the idea of there being an 'unbiased' curator who decides what people should see on the internet.

"I should be able to choose," Laporte said. He argued that just like he chooses to join Twitter and who to follows, he can choose to "go on Truth Social, or Gab," and there should be no big tech gatekeeper interfering in that.

The 26-year-old American rapper and singer was supposed to perform at the Asunciónico festival, held in Paraguay’s capital. The event was canceled due to extreme weather conditions -- which also caused an emergency-landing of singer Miley Cyrus’ plane.

Apparently Doja Cat, real name Amala Dlamini, didn't address her Paraguayan fans regarding the canceled concert. She however, addressed her Brazilian fans where she's performing this week, at Brazil’s Lollapalooza music festival. She also to another who claimed to be upset that she didn't show them some love.

“I know it’s not your obligation to greet your fans who were there during the rain, but asking waiters not to talk to you and not look you in the eye at your ‘private’ party? haha where was the humility?” wrote Twitter user @milecardenass.

Doja Cat replied rather cryptically: “Oh boy if you only knew.”

A Twitter user, with the name 'JUSTICE FOR PARAGUAY,' shared an image labeling Doja Cat Paraguay’s “Public Enemy #1.”

“It’s too late to apologize,” another Twitter user wrote in reply to 'JUSTICE FOR PARAGUAY,' prompting Doja Cat to clarify that she’s “not sorry.”

The Need to Know singer had enough of the back and forth after other fans(or 'concern-trolls') started piling on.

The Canadian prime minister during a speech to the European Parliament this week, attacked the Freedom Convoy protestors, saying that its leaders were "cynical populists who are trying to exploit" anxieties. The tone-deaf remarks reminded critics about his dictatorial treatment of the anti-vaccine-mandate protesters in Canada earlier this year.

German Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Christine Anderson was not amused.

"A prime minister who openly admires the Chinese basic dictatorship, who tramples as human rights, by persecuting and criminalizing his own citizens as terrorists, because they dare stand up to his perverted concept of democracy, should not be allowed to speak in this House at all," the MEP said to applause. "Mr. Trudeau, you are a disgrace for any democracy, please spare us your presence."

Mislav Kolakusic, MEP from Croatia had a day earlier,  accused Trudeau of conducting "a dictatorship of the worst kind," specifically calling out Trudeau for trampling on the rights of Canadians, and literally having horses trample women during the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa.

Amid a tornado on Monday in the town of Elgin, Texas, a truck trying to make its way down the road was flipped over on its side as the twister tore through.

The vehicle managed to flip again, right side up. And the truck proceeded to cruise on down the highway as if nothing happened

Since invading Ukraine nearly two weeks ago, Russia has faced harsh economic sanctions by many nations including the United States. Companies like VISA, Mastercard, Google, Apple and others have terminated services to and in Russia. Also Russian media outlets like the state-run RT network and Sputnik have been blocked in many countries and on many platforms.

Apparently officials from unnamed countries have asked SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to block Russians' access to the Starlink system -- a satellite megaconstellation designed to provide high-speed, low-latency broadband internet access to regions all over the world, with a focus on remote or underserved areas.

"Starlink has been told by some governments (not Ukraine) to block Russian news sources," Musk wrote on Twitter over the weekend. "We will not do so unless at gunpoint. Sorry to be a free speech absolutist."

The Tesla CEO's stance was widely praised online by conservatives who are wary of Big Tech's unaccountable and totalitarian power over global communication and finance. However as expected many unhinged woke leftists slammed him for not joining their 'cancel culture' crusade against Russians most of whom do not support Putin's war with Ukraine.

Roman Abramovich Wednesday night confirmed that the British soccer team is up for sale for £3B, and that he is writing off the £1.5billion debt he is owed by the team.

"I have always taken decisions with the club’s best interest at heart," he said in a statement. "In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the club … I will not be asking for any loans to be repaid."

Abramovich  has instructed American bank the Raine Group to handle the sale. He said net proceeds of any sale will be donated to the victims of the war in Ukraine. His reported links to the Russian regime could complicate finding a buyer. Sanctions are piling up by the day against the regime and its allies since it's ongoing invasion of Ukraine last week.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer challenged Boris Johnson in Parliament Wednesday, about why Abramovich has not yet been sanctioned, with the Prime Minister replying: "It is not appropriate to comment on individual cases."

However, Abramovich will reportedly receive at least two firm offers for Chelsea by the end of this week.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel recently snapped at a reporter after he was repeatedly asked about Ukraine and Abramovich.

At the time he was found dead in his cell in New York, Epstein -- who was famously linked to many prominent people like former president Bill Clinton, -- was the subject of wild speculations online. Many didn't believe the official line that he hung himself. This led to the meme: "Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself," with many suggesting that Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are nefariously involved in deaths of people who might have dirt on them.

Well, the wild speculations returned this weekend following the news of Brunel's death in Paris.

“Anyone know where Hillary was this weekend?” United States senator Ted Cruz asked on Twitter.

The tweet went viral on social media Saturday, triggering thin-skinned leftists, while amusing sane rest of humanity.

CRIME

Jean-Luc Brunel 76, was being held Paris, in an investigation into the alleged rape and trafficking of minors for sexual exploitation. He discovered dead in his jail Saturday, from hanging himself with his sheets, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office. Apparently, the cell cameras were reportedly not working at the time he allegedly killed himself.

Brunel was detained while attempting to flee to Senegal, at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport in 2020, as part of a broad French probe unleashed by sex-trafficking charges in United States, against late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The modelling agent was considered central to the French investigation into alleged sexual exploitation of women and girls by Epstein who was also found dead in his cell about three years ago.

Epstein was famously linked to many prominent people like former president Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew who recently agreed to settle a case in which Virginia Roberts Giuffre accused him of sexual abuse when she was 17. Guiffre says she was supplied to Andrew by Epstein, charges that Andrew denies. The settlement, in which Andrew agreed to make a substantial donation to Giuffre's charity, avoids a trial.

CULTURE

The conservative commentator and host of Candace, is obviously no fan of LeBron James' woke antics on social media. The NBA star and left-wing activist is one of several athletes who like to weigh in on the many socio-cultural controversies which dominate American social media. Critics of the 37-year-old basketball player point out that he's a flaming illiterate who is mostly ignorant of the social issues he speaks on.

Appearing on the Full Send Podcast, Owens was asked about her famous online spats with influential woke figures like James. She said that the NBA star has not directly addressed her on social media.

Owens then proceeded to give the basketballer a backhanded complement.

“To be clear, LeBron is a well-meaning person and I don’t think LeBron means to do bad,” the conservative firebrand said. “I just don’t think he’s that smart, I really do. I think LeBron James is low IQ. I’ve heard him speak about issues, and he just is so wrong. He carries with him an arrogance which isn’t hard when you’re being called a king, and he is an incredible talent, there is no doubt about that.”

Owens argued that the NBA star should not speak on issues he's not well-informed on.

“If you are not educated about something, you shouldn’t speak on it…" She said. "I would rather him be quiet than tell his people that follow him a lie. He needs to do the work of actually becoming educated about these issues, and it’s not hard. It really isn’t hard to look up data and to look up the facts.”

The housing development proposal has divided Yellow Springs, a town in Ohio, where the 48-year-old comedian lives. The development involves more than 100 single-family homes with prices ranging from $250,000-$600,000. A second option would involve 64 single-family homes, 52 duplexes and 24 townhomes with 1.75 acres set aside for affordable housing to be built at a later date.

“For evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing…" one officer can be heard saying in the leaked video of the meeting on Friday, between CBP Chief Raul Ortiz and agents in Laredo, Texas. "Good men are doing nothing. You’re allowing illegal aliens to be dropped off in communities…”

The agents are frustrated by Biden administration's apparently deliberate policy of letting in and resettling hundreds of thousands of mostly able-bodied men without proper vetting. This has overwhelmed -- and made the lawful work of -- CBP agents almost impossible.

Chief Ortiz has been touring border stations in the past few days, with Department of Homeland Security(DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Agents reportedly turned their backs on Mayorkas at a recent meeting in Yuma, Texas.

MONEY

While the paper stressed that no final decisions about a digital currency have been reached, the report suggests it is leaning toward having banks and other financial firms, rather than the Fed itself, manage digital accounts for customers.

"The introduction of a (central bank digital currency) would represent a highly significant innovation in American money," the study said. The Fed said it "could fundamentally change the structure of the U.S. financial system, altering the roles and responsibilities of the private sector and the central bank."

Unlike the online and digital payments that customers already conduct which are funneled through banks, a central bank digital currency would not need such third-party banks.

The report comes as bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies proliferate and grow in popularity, and central banks around the world experiment with government-backed digital currencies. China's central bank recently tested a digital version of the yuan.

CORONAVIRUS

Addressing parliament Wednesday, the prime minister  announced that the enforcement of "mandatory certification[vaccine passport]" will end “From the start of Thursday next week," ending the unpopular effort by government to force or pressure people to get the jab.

Johnson said that from today(Thursday, Jan. 20) the government "will no longer require face masks in classrooms, and the Department for Education will shortly remove national guidance on their use in communal areas.”

The prime minister also announced that the government would remove mask requirements for other indoor locations: “We will trust the judgement of the British people and no longer criminalize anyone who chooses not to wear one,” he said.

Johnson said, "the government is no longer asking people to work from home and people should now speak to their employers about arrangements for returning to the office.”

The prime minister intends to remove the legal requirement to self-isolate on contracting the coronavirus infection. “The self-isolation regulations expire on 24th March, at which point I very much expect not to renew them,” he said.

Johnson's announcement stands in contrast to other left-wing world leaders in the west who are still pushing for more restrictions, vaccine and mask mandates.

At a press conference Wednesday, United States President Joe Biden urged Americans to get the jab and the so-called booster, even as data shows that the vaccinated are more likely to contract and spread the virus than those with natural immunity.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in a four-minute video posted to Instagram slammed the decision.

In video call with governors Monday, the United States president in a remarkable about-face, agrees with conservatives and Republican governors who have been arguing all along that federal measures are both ineffective and unconstitutional.

“Look, there is no federal solution to Covid. This gets solved at a state level,” Biden told the governors.

During last year's presidential campaign, the then-Democrat presidential nominee attacked President Trump for not imposing federal coronavirus restrictions. "To beat Covid-19, we need a national response from the federal government," Biden tweeted. "but Donald Trump refuses to do his job."

Many on social media pointed out that Biden's comments to the governors further delegitimizes his administration's decision to continue to defend his mandates in court. The supreme court will hear oral arguments next month, in a case brought by dozens of businesses and Republican-led states against the administration's federal vaccine mandate.

Biden during the meeting with governors, also acknowledged his administration's failure on making testing easily available, which led to long lines across the country in front of testing locations ahead of the Christmas holiday.

“Seeing how tough it was for some folks to get a test this weekend shows that we have more work to do,” he admitted.

"So you're gonna move him," can be seen telling a flight attendant, in a video circulating online. "And that's how it's gonna be." She insisted that either the unvaccinated man be moved or they give her another seat.

"You're intentionally putting me in danger," the woman continued. She also threatened to call the cops, claiming that the airline is violating her right "as a citizen, as a human being."

As the woman who is not wearing mask herself continued to argue with the attendant, the pilot stepped in and 'laid down the law.'

"There will be no discrimination on my aircraft," the pilot told the unruly woman.

"Vaccinated or unvaccinated, we should respect each other," he added as other passengers applaud.

Critics online slammed left-wing Jewish organization Stop Antisemitism, after the organization via a tweet, attacked model and socialite Khloe Khardashian for posting a quote on Instagram, of Jesus Christ's teaching about giving Charity.

In Matthew 6:2, Jesus said: "Whenever you give to the poor, don't blow your trumpet as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets, so that they may get praise from people. I assure you, that's the only reward they'll get."

Apparently, far-left Jews at SA thought that everyone 'sees antisemitism under every pillow' as they seem to do.

"Why in the world is @KhloeKardashian channeling Nation of Islam antisemitic rhetoric earlier today on Instagram?" the far-left group in a now-deleted tweet wrote via @StopAntisemites, referencing Louis Farrakhan's black supremacist muslim organization.

Many were outraged by the tweet, accusing the organization of trying to censor Bible quotes. Many rightly noted that the organization is Christophobic and hates the fact that United States is a Christian country.

"Posting Bible verses on Christmas is 'antisemitic,'" CEO of Gab Andrew Torba wrote on the free speech social media network. "I warned you all this was coming. Keep bending the knee to people who hate Christ and this is what the inevitable outcome is."

The passenger whose own mask hung under her chin, resisted all initial attempts to stop escalating the situation during the Tampa-to-Atlanta flight Thursday. She also refused to wear her own mask properly.

"Stand your ass up!" she barked at the elderly man, who explained that he's still "eating and drinking."

President Biden and his wife Jill made the traditional Christmas phone call into the North American Aerospace Command, NORAD which tracks Santa for kids. During the event, the president and first lady connected with parents and kids for brief chats.

After Biden spoke to an Oregon family, the father wrapped up the call by saying: “I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas as well, Merry Christmas. Let’s go Brandon!”

“Let’s go Brandon, I agree,” the president responded, smiling awkwardly with Jill.

By time he added: “Hey, by the way, are you in Oregon?” The caller Jared had been disconnected.

Within minutes, "Let's Go Brandon!" trended on social media.

Given that he is allegedly senile, there was disagreement online, over whether the president was fully aware at that moment, that the LGB meme is an in-house joke for the "Fuck Joe Biden!" chant which is popular among many young Americans who are dissatisfied with his destructive left-wing policies.

In an interview with the Malam magazine, retired Israel Defense Forces Major General, Tamir Hayman revealed that Israel "played a role" in the targeted killing last year of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani by the United States military.

Soleimani was the former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force chief. Israeli Intelligence blamed him for planning and executing deadly attacks against Jews and Israeli interests worldwide.

McCullough appeared on Joe Rogan Experience podcast published Monday, to discuss the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.

The cardiologist told host Joe Rogan that there are effective therapeutics including Hydroxychloroquine, that many doctors have used to treat patients successfully since the beginning of the pandemic.

McCullough slammed government bureaucrats, scientists and Big Pharma for downplaying and banning the use of effective therapeutics. He said incompetence and mass psychosis hindered the early effort to combat the virus.

The doctor said that concerted effort was wrongly directed at promoting the vaccine.

"It seems to me early on there was an intentional very comprehensive suppression of early treatment in order to promote fear, suffering, isolation, hospitalization, and death," McCullough said. "And it seemed to be completely organized and intentional in order to create acceptance for and then promote mass vaccination."

The Fox News Sunday host announced on Sunday that he is leaving the most watched United States cable news network after 18 years. He is joining disgraced far-left 'fake news' media outlet CNN, a move which left many scratching their heads.

Many of the channel's viewers who are definitely no fans of the left-wing host, welcomed the news. In fact 'good riddance' trended briefly on Twitter.

While left-wing talking heads of other media outlets heaped praise on the 74-year-old, others pointed out that Wallace is a partisan Democrat who has abused his position at Fox News to harass and undermine Republican politicians on his Sunday show.

Many wondered why the veteran TV host would join CNN which has recently been plagued with scandals involving sexual allegations against hosts like Don Lemon and former New York governor Andrew Cuomo's brother, Chris. The far-left network has also been widely mocked as a 'propaganda machine' for the Democrat party. Wallace will be hosting a show for the network's yet-to-be launched streaming service CNN+.

“I gotta tell ya,” Stern, a veteran left-wing shock jock said on his show on SiriusXM Monday. “People don’t watch CNN, who the hell is going to pay for CNN+? Are they out of their mind? CNN+, I mean what is that? Regular CNN isn’t enough?”

The 67-year-old radio personality said he won’t pay for CNN+ and doesn’t expect others to either. “Good luck being seen on that thing,” Stern said. “I mean I like Chris Wallace, but I’m not paying a monthly service fee.”

Stern wondered why Wallace would prefer to work for CNN, suggesting that the 74-year-old is heading to CNN for the work culture: “Maybe he said to himself, ‘They just had Jeffrey Toobin jerking off on a zoom meeting, and they didn’t really fire him, so that’s probably a good place to work. You can jerk off on your zoom and not get fired.' I think he saw an opportunity.”

John Griffin, 44, was arrested on Friday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, charged with three counts of using a facility of interstate commerce to attempt to entice underage girls to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

Statement by Department of Justice reads: "According to the indictment, from April to July of 2020, Griffin utilized the messaging applications Kik and Google Hangouts to communicate with people purporting to be parents of minor daughters, conveying to them, among other ideas, that a 'woman is a woman regardless of her age,' and that women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men.

In June of 2020, Griffin advised a mother of 9- and 13-year-old daughters that the mother’s responsibility was to see that her older daughter was 'trained properly.' Griffin later transferred over $3,000 to the mother for plane tickets so the mother and her 9-year-old daughter could fly from Nevada to Boston’s Logan airport. The mother and child flew to Boston in July of 2020, where Griffin picked them up in his Tesla and drove them to his Ludlow house. At the house, the daughter was directed to engage in, and did engage in, unlawful sexual activity."

The indictment also states that Griffin attempted to use the internet to lure two other children into engaging in unlawful sexual activities.

"In April of 2020, Griffin proposed to engage in a 'virtual training session' over a video chat that would include him instructing the mother and her 14-year-old daughter to remove their clothing and touch each other at his direction," the indictment reads. "In June of 2020, Griffin proposed to a purported mother of a 16-year-old daughter that she take a 'little mother-daughter trip' to Griffin’s Ludlow ski house for sexual training involving the child."

Griffin has reportedly been scheduled to appear in court again on Dec. 15. He appeared Friday afternoon in New Haven federal court via Zoom. Judge Robert Spector said he would file an order for Griffin to be transferred to Vermont.

Each of the three-count charge has a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years of imprisonment and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Griffin who has been employed by far-left outlet CNN since 2013, worked closely with their disgraced ex-host Chris Cuomo and senior political analyst John Avlon.

Since the news broke, the pro-Democrat party network has been the butt of jokes online, with many calling for the far-left CEO Jeff Zucker(called 'dwarf king' by Fox News host Tucker Carlson) to be fired.

Boris Johnson announced the rules Wednesday, even as scientists say that the Omicron variant is less deadly with milder symptoms than the delta variant of the Chinese coronavirus.

"It's not a lockdown, it's Plan B," the prime minister said, apparently in response to critics wary of another set of strict lockdown measures like the one in place most of last year and early this year.

Johnson said more is still being learned about Omicron and the picture might get better, but that it "could lead to a big rise in hospitalizations and therefore sadly in deaths."

This is contrary to what scientists say about the variant, which even the World Health Organization recently announced that no one has died of.

Everyone should test using a lateral flow device, particularly before entering a high-risk setting involving people you wouldn’t normally come into contact with, or when visiting a vulnerable person. Lateral flow devices remain free of charge and can be collected from local pharmacies.

From Friday 10 December, face coverings will become compulsory in most public indoor venues, such as cinemas, theatres and places of worship. There will be exemptions in venues where it is not practical to wear one, such as when you are eating, drinking or exercising. For that reason, face masks will not be required in hospitality settings.

From Monday 13 December, those who can will be advised to work from home.

From Wednesday 15 December, and subject to parliamentary approval, the NHS Covid Pass on the NHS App will become mandatory for entry into nightclubs and settings where large crowds gather – including unseated indoor events with 500 or more attendees, unseated outdoor events with 4,000 or more attendees and any event with 10,000 or more attendees.

People will be able to demonstrate proof of two vaccine doses via the app. Having considered the evidence since the emergence of Omicron, proof of a negative lateral flow test will also be accepted.

Introducing Covid-status certification from next Wednesday will give businesses a week’s notice, as promised in the government’s proposals for introducing mandatory certification published in September.

The Biden administration has been roundly criticized for its travel ban on 8 African countries over the Omicron variant of the Chinese coronavirus. Critics point out that the ban has no scientific basis since the variant is far less deadly than the Delta variant; and it has been detected in European countries not included in the ban.

Today News Africa correspondent Simon Ateba had this week clashed over the travel ban with Dr. Anthony Fauci the discredited Chief Medical Adviser to President Biden, and White House press secretary Jen Psaki. The press secretary at one point accused the TNA correspondent of being disrespectful.

Ateba, a native of Cameroon, told Fox News on Friday that: "The travel ban was built on a lie. The president on November 26 banned 8 African countries. Only 2 of those countries had any case of the omicron variant."

The reporter said: "There's total chaos. People can’t travel to Namibia, Zimbabwe [or] Mozambique, yet they have zero cases. So I don't believe I was the one being disrespectful. I think Africa was disrespected, by banning countries based on a lie."

Ateba claimed that "The African [Union] CDC told him that "travel bans don’t prevent variants from spreading." He said  the ban "seems discriminatory and a bit racist – because [those are] Black-African countries."

A clause in the streaming giant's “COVID-19 medical misinformation policy” states that both -- “Claims that wearing a mask is dangerous or causes negative physical health effects” and “Claims that masks do not play a role in preventing the contraction or transmission of COVID-19” -- violate the company’s “misinformation” terms and conditions.

The big tech company will punish violators with removal and a 'strike.' And repeat violators are subject to losing their channel or account. “If you get 3 strikes within 90 days, your channel will be terminated.” the policy notes.

Other censored terminology and phrases include “Content that recommends use of Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19” and “Claims that an approved COVID-19 vaccine will cause death, infertility, miscarriage, autism, or contraction of other infectious diseases.”

Jerome Powell told United States Senate Banking Committee Tuesday, that the threat of persistently higher inflation has grown, contrary to other Biden administration's left-wing officials and economists who had claimed it is a transitory trend.

Inflation hit a 30-year record in October, with consumer prices rising by 6.2 percent. It was the fifth consecutive month the Labor Department reported inflation exceeding 5 percent.

“I think the word ‘transitory’ has different meanings to different people,” Powell said his in testimony.  “To many, it carries a time — a sense of short-lived. We tend to use it to mean that it won’t leave a permanent mark in the form of higher inflation. I think it’s probably a good time to retire that word and try to explain clearly what we mean.”

The Chairman said the Federal Reserve is committed to using its tools to bring it down over time.

“We understand that high inflation imposes significant burdens, especially on those less able to meet the higher costs of essentials like food, housing, and transportation,” Powell said. “We are committed to our price-stability goal. We will use our tools both to support the economy and a strong labor market and to prevent higher inflation from becoming entrenched.”

Markets reacted negatively to the Chairman's comment. It put a stop to a record-breaking surge for Ethereum. The cryptocurrency fell from an all-time high of $4,758 to roughly $4,500. The Dow Jones Industrial average also tumbled over 650 points, or 1.8%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite slipped 1.9% and 1.5%, respectively.

The Florida governor made the comments Monday, at a press conference about his budget requests for law enforcement in the next fiscal year.

DeSantis also slammed left-wing media outlets for their biased coverage of violent crimes. Far-left outlets like CNN and Washington Post have been mocked recently on social media for their blatantly biased coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial and the Waukesha Christmas parade attack.

“This guy was a career criminal let out on, didn’t really have any bail basically, should not have even been on the street, had clear, anti-white animus," the governor said. "And this was an intentional act. And it seems like, you know, for corporate press, they’re more apt to characterize a parent who goes to a school board meeting to protest bad policies as a domestic terrorist than somebody who intentionally rams an SUV into a crowd of innocent people.”

The popular Republican governor made the remarks at a press conference about his budget requests for law enforcement in the next fiscal year. He is seeking to renew $1,000 bonuses for all sworn law enforcement, EMTs and first responders.

“I think we believe societally, that stigma against MAPs serves to protect children because we don’t fully understand the differences between MAPs and sex offenders,” Walker said in an interview. “Again, we have this confusion between the attraction and a criminal behavior." He added that the stigma against pedophiles is a “huge problem.”

Walker is the author of a book titled A Long, Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity.

After his resignation following widespread backlash, the woke professor said that the research was intended towards preventing child abuse and was “mischaracterized by some in the media and online, partly on the basis of my trans identity." He added that "multiple threats were made against me and the campus community generally."

Apparently Walker has fans among her fellow academics, including 60 professors who signed a letter to the administration of ODU defending Walker’s “important and ground-breaking” scholarship.

The trans professor will be on administrative leave until May 2022 when his resignation is permanent.

The bill signing ceremony took place at Brandon Honda in the unincorporated community in Florida’s Hillsborough County, leading many far-left media outlets to suggest that the governor is trolling them with "Let's Go Brandon."

Woke far-left actors on NBC's Saturday Night Live mocked Senator Ted Cruz(R-Texas) days after he called out Biden administration's use of the once popular cartoon character Big Bird to push coronavirus vaccine for children.

"Government propaganda .. for your 5-year-old," Cruz wrote in response to a post by the Twitter handle of Big Bird, promoting the vaccine.

Far-left media talking heads were outraged that the senator would dare 'question Big Bird.' Cruz had mocked the media -- on his podcast The verdict-- for their hysterical reaction to his tweet.

Reacting to the SNL skit Sunday, the senator wrote on social media: "#CruzStreet has BOTH @joerogan AND @britneyspears Sounds pretty awesome….@nbcsnl."

He later added: "On a serious note, when it comes to the COVID vaccine, it should be your choice. And PARENTS should decide for their kids—there shouldn’t be government propaganda directed at your 5-year old." 

Critics including comedian Tim Dillon panned the SNL skit as unfunny.

According to United States Air Force pilot Hasard Lee, F-16 pilots normally use the bathroom every 8 hours, and to take care of business, pilots use piddle-packs.

Piddle-packs are specially shaped bags with absorbent beads in them. To relieve themselves, a pilot would unzip the flight suit—which is designed to unzip from the top as well as the bottom—unroll the piddle pack, and then pee into it. Once done, the top is sealed, while the absorbent beads turn it into a gel that won’t leak.

To make the process more convenient especially for women, other devices have since been developed.

According to Lee, the device usually involve an undergarment with a jockstrap that is attached to a vacuum. When the pilot needs to pee, they turn on the vacuum and relieve themselves without having to unzip.

According to police, the elderly was minding his business in a garage on East 89th near MLK in West Chesterfield around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, when the robber drove up, pulled out a gun and demanded his stuff.

The 77-year-old was not having it. He pulled out a gun and shot the robber in the head and chest. Police said the robber -- later identified as Bernard Peterson -- was pronounced dead at the scene.

The elderly man -- a retired firefighter -- has a valid Firearms Owner Identification Card and a Concealed Carry License.

Gun rights and concealed carry advocates praised the 77-year-old's quick action, pointing out that his action ensures the armed robber is not going to be attacking another innocent ever again.

Daylight Saving Time (or 'Summer Time') is basically intended to bring more hours of sunlight during winter mornings. This means losing an hour as clocks are set forward in the spring.

Countries have different change dates. DST in United Kingdom and most of Europe starts at 1:00am on last Sunday of March and ends at 1:00am. on last Sunday of October. In United States DST starts at 2:00am. on second Sunday of March and ends at 2:00am. on first Sunday of November. Most African countries like Nigeria and some parts of U.S. do not switch to DST.

While the rest of humanity goes about their daily lives barely noticing the time change, some apparently hate it. And every year when the time of switchover approaches, they make sure their voices are heard. Losing an hour of sleep only to wake up to darkness? No thanks.

Those who support DST claim it saves energy and reduces accidents.

Some lawmakers in U.K. and U.S. have been unsuccessfully pushing for an end to the winter switchover. Even the American Academy of Medicine has called for an end to DST, citing growing research that shows its deleterious effects on health and safety.

Well they may have to try harder. To the rest of humanity, it's an 'eye roll.'

Over 50,000 people were at the sold-out outdoor music festival Friday night, at NRG Park — the stadium complex in Houston, Texas, where the Astrodome and the NRG Stadium stand.

According to Houston Fire Chief Sam Peña, just after 9 p.m. local time, “the crowd for whatever reason began to push and surge towards the front of the stage, which caused the people in the front to be compressed — they were unable to escape that situation.”

That sparked panic, and the situation worsened and overwhelmed security personnel there, he said.

“People began to fall out, become unconscious and it created additional panic,” Peña said during a press conference.

“We had scores of individuals that were injured,” Peña said, at a press conference early Saturday morning.

According to Houston Police Department's Chief, Troy Finner, a security guard at the event felt a prick in his neck by an unknown assailant while he was trying to restrain a citizen -- and he quickly fell unconscious.

Finner said the guard was subsequently revived with NARCAN, and that medical personnel saw something on his neck that indicated he'd been stabbed with a syringe.

In addition to at least 8 deaths, hundreds of people were treated for injuries and other medical issues, and a 10 year-old is in critical condition.

In video he posted on Instagram Scott says he's devastated and was unaware of the severity of the situation. Some attendees blamed Scott and his team for not heeding calls to stop and attend to injured people who were screaming.

The 30-year-old rapper says he always tries to look out for his fans, and last night things clearly went very wrong. He urges anyone with any information regarding what happened at the festival, to contact the police.

Scott's Billionaire wife and expectant mother Kylie and her sister, Kendall Jenner, attended the event. They are both okay and did not get injured. Kylie's 3-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, whom she shares with Scott, was also in attendance at the event.

Penn National Gaming Inc. reported third-quarter earnings early Thursday morning, after which its stock fell sharply from its Wednesday close of $72.73 to $65.67 by 1445 UTC, when Insider published a hit piece on Barstool founder Dave Portnoy.

[Update] Court Blocks Biden's Federal Corona-vaccine Mandate

Five Republican-led states - Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Utah - as well as private companies and religious groups, had filed legal challenges against the mandate.

The 5th circuit court of appeal in a ruling temporarily suspending the mandate, found "grave statutory and constitutional" issues with the rule, set to be introduced in January.

Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has opposed government mandates on vaccines and masks, applauded the court's decision.

"We will have our day in court to strike down Biden's unconstitutional abuse of authority," he said.

But Labor Department solicitor Seema Nanda said it was "confident in its legal authority" to issue the rule.

"We are fully prepared to defend this standard in court," she said.

In move slammed by Republicans as dangerously tyrannical, Biden administration is still pushing businesses to implement the mandate despite the court's ruling.

Administration officials said Thursday, that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s emergency temporary standard (ETS) used to enact the mandate is “well within OSHA’s authority under the law and consistent with OSHA's requirements to protect workers from health and safety hazards, including infectious diseases.”

OSHA plans to have programed or planned inspections, where agents go into workplaces to check that the workplace is in compliance with the rule. For what OSHA refers to as willful violations, a company can be fined $136,532.

The standard penalty is $13,653 for a single violation, and the number would increase if there are multiple violations in a workplace.

The ETS requires employers to develop, implement and enforce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy unless they adopt a policy requiring employees to either get vaccinated or test once a week and wear a face covering at work.

It also requires employers to provide paid time off to workers to get vaccinated and paid leave to employees to recover from any side effects from the vaccine that keep employees from being able to work.

The deadline for health care workers at facilities participating in Medicare and Medicaid to get fully vaccinated is Jan. 4. The administration pushed back the deadline for employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated to that date. Unlike for private businesses, there is no testing option for health care workers.

When Biden announced the sweeping vaccine-or-test mandate in September, Republican governors vowed to sue the administration. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), ordered that no business in Texas can impose a vaccine mandate on employees or customers, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), have called back state legislators to pass a law banning vaccine mandates in his state.

Responding to the announcement Thursday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote on social media: "Biden just announced his plan to wield OSHA to mandate vaccines on private businesses. And I’m announcing my plan to sue him once this illegal, unconstitutional regulation hits the Federal Register.

The Florida governor made the joke while speaking at an election integrity press conference in Palm Beach Wednesday morning.

DeSantis touched on issues facing conservatives, such as Big Tech, the Republican gains in Virginia on Tuesday, and big corporations' "woke agenda."

"If you look at all the things that are going on, you see Big Tech, you see the corporate media — although they weren’t too happy with Virginia last night," DeSantis said. "If you look at that. If you look at what’s going on with some of the big corporations with their woke agenda."

"When you look at the Biden — when you look at the Brandon administration," DeSantis said before being drowned out by cheers and applause, and chants of "Let's go, Brandon."

The globally popular meme is a substitute for 'fuck Joe Biden!' a popular chant that started last summer at sports games as an expression of displeasure with President Biden's failing far-left Marxist and authoritarian policies.

The skyrocketing popularity of "Let’s go, Brandon" has spawned T-shirts, coffee mugs and a chart-topping rap song.

CNN analyst Asha Rangappa compared the pilot to an ISIS sympathizer. "As an experiment, I’d love for an @SouthwestAir pilot to say ‘Long live ISIS’ before taking off. My guess is that 1) the plane would be immediately grounded; 2) the pilot fired; and 3) a statement issued by the airline within a matter of hours," she tweeted.

Republican senator Ted Cruz(R-Texas) called out Rangappa, tweeting "CNN is deranged. And no, as a factual matter, supporting genocidal religious zealots is not the same as disagreeing with the current President."

Critics point out that throughout the presidency of Donald Trump, leftists applauded and celebrated vulgar rhetoric aimed at the former president. Actor Robert de Niro once received a standing ovation from the Hollywood crowd attending the Tony Awards by simply uttering, "fuck Trump."

Unhinged woke celebrities also threatened to blow up the White House, posed with a mock severed head of the former president, and celebrated his fictional assassination in an adaptation of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar."
