Kayleigh McEnany Rips Democrats' 'Defund The Police' Push

Keneci Channel.

The popular White house press secretary at a press briefing Monday said that "the President is appalled by the 'defund police' movement."

Following the death of George Floyd and the devastating riots in the past two weeks, many far left democrats have started pushing for the local and state governments to defund and disband the police force entirely. Yes you heard it right!

Reacting to questions about the President Trump's view on the issue, McEnany decried the fact that leading democrat congresswomen like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez endorse the push to defund the police.

She pointed that democrats "want to defund Immigration and Custom Enforcement and now they want to defund the police?"

The press secretary noted that 750 officers were injured “defending this country from rioters and Antifa, as to be distinguished from peaceful protesters.”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was booed at a rally Sunday, by far left 'BlackLivesMatter' and Antifa activists when he publicly went against the city council, reiterating that he does not support abolishing the city’s police.

Minneapolis city council members, including Jeremiah Ellison, the son of state Attorney General Keith Ellison, who declared his support for Antifa, pledged to vote to abolish the city police department.

Defending this decision in a widely mocked interview on CNN, the City Council President Lisa Bender said "watching George Floyd’s death, and the actions of the four police officers that were involved has been a huge wake-up call."

When CNN's Camerota asked, “What if, in the middle of the night, my home is broken into? Who do I call?” Bender incredulously said, “Yes, I mean, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors, and myself, too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege."
