Charlamagne Tha god slams Biden's Free Crack Pipes Plan: "That Looks Crazy"

President Joe Biden administration was recently forced to backtrack from its plans to distribute grant money and kits targeted toward so-called underserved communities such as African-Americans and “LGBTQ+ persons” as part of the left-wing Democrat president's 'racial equity' agenda. The program would fund the distribution of kits containing crack pipes among other items.
Co-hosts Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha god and DJ Envy discussed the free crack pipes plan on their radio show The Breakfast Club, recently. Far-left Democrat Angela Yee falsely suggested that such program has proven effective in combatting addiction in other places. For the record, this is categorically false.
"I wish they'd focus on, you know, rehabilitation," left-wing black rights activist Charlamagne tha god said.
The Breakfast Club co-host rightly argued that it is better to focus on trying to help the addicted recover and turn away from addiction, than sending them free crack pipes.
"...I think we should just try to keep them from not getting high, you know," Charlamagne said. "I wish they'd focus on rehabilitation more. And mental services, to help people get to the root of their trauma that might be leading them to substance abuse."
Charlamagne Tha god(real name: Lenard McKelvey) 43, is known to challenge Democrat politicians on their policy proposals. Candidate Joe Biden famously snapped at the The Breakfast Club host in an interview during his 2020 presidential campaign, when he said to any black American who would not vote for him: "you ain't black."
The Breakfast Club co-host said of the free crack pipes plan, "it just sounds wild."
"It's easy to attack Democrats on this," Charlamagne continued. "Because this an administration that hasn't done anything for black people. So being it hasn't done anything for black people, but it has the distribution of crack pipes under their advanced racial equity funding, that looks crazy."
DJ Envy agreed with Charlamagne.
