Piers Morgan Savaged On Social Media Following Caroline Flack Death

Keneci Channel.

Since the death of Reality TV host Caroline Flack, many on social media has decried media's aggressive and intrusive coverage of celebrities.

Left-wing trolls blamed newspapers like The Sun and Daily Mail. In his initial reaction to the news of the death, "Good Morning Britain" TV show co-host Piers Morgan tweeted:

This attracted hundreds of trolls who blamed him and his media colleagues for the death of Caroline Flack.

Here are some of the reactions on twitter.

@Carley_J_Jones: Caroline Flack’s death is a perfect example of the consequence’s of trial by media. Watching certain ‘journalists’ Dan Wootton and Piers Morgan tweeting their shock when the rags they write for bully her daily is sickening.

@mr_jonestweets: Piers Morgan and Katie Hopkins are crying crocodile tears over the passing of Caroline Flack while continuing their spiteful, daily harassment of Meghan Markle. Two cheeks of the same arse.

@CumberdickB: Katie Hopkins and piers Morgan criticising the media over Caroline Flack is like Hitler criticising the dangers of gas chambers.

Pretty harsh and extreme stuff, obviously. Piers Morgan reacted to the barrage, Sunday, wondering why the trolls still follow him on Twitter.

He tweeted:

"Had a busy morning blocking all the most abusive trolls spewing their repulsive foul-mouthed filth at me - all in the name of 'be kinder'. What I don't understand is why so many of them follow me? Are they idiots or self-flaggellists? Either way, they need a mirror.

24/7... Twitter has so many positives & I love it as a platform, but the sheer volume of disgusting abuse that everyone in the public eye now receives on here is out of control. I don't personally care about it, but many do. These cowards would never say it to our faces.

Piers Morgan is no stranger to the nasty online culture. It is probably part of his job description?
