Washington Post Mocked For Waukesha Attack Tweet: "Caused by an SUV"

Violent career criminal Darrell Brooks was charged with intentional homicide after plowing through a crowded Christmas parade with his SUV, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, resulting in the deaths of six people ages 8 to 81 and injuring dozens more.

Apparently Jeff Bezos' far-left media outlet Washington Post is far more interested in making sure its readers don't get the 'wrong' idea that the real perpetrator here is not the red SUV. Because rightly placing the responsibility on the 39-year-old black terrorist Brooks, runs counter to their woke 'white-supremacy-under-every-pillow' narrative.

"Here's what we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy caused by [an] SUV," the paper tweeted, linking to their article chronicling the terrorist attack.

Throughout the article, the Post ridiculously relied on the SUV as the apparent cause of the bloodshed in Waukesha. "A few moments later, the SUV rammed through the parade participants, killing five and injuring more than 40 people, including children," the far-left outlet wrote in the report published Tuesday.

The mockery was swift on social media.

"Ban all SUVs! They're murderous terrorists!" Rourinu wrote.

"What did they charge the SUV with?" Spectator contributing editor Stephen Miller asked.

"Hope the SUV has a good lawyer," Washington Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross quipped.

"Did the SUV drive itself? This headline is a disgrace," Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo, reacted.

"Blaming guns for shootings and SUVs for truck attacks. At least there’s consistency," Daily Caller correspondent Anders Hagstrom wrote.

"It was not caused by an SUV. This was an intentional attack by a terrible person. There's no reason to frame it as an accident at this point nor is there a reason to blame it on anything but the driver," political commentator Josh Jordan responded.

Washington Post deleted the tweet Thursday morning replacing it with one that read: "What we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy."

They added: "We’ve deleted a previous tweet for this story that included language that was changed after publish."
