[Update]  Waukesha Christmas Parade Attacker Posted On Social Media about Killing White People

The parade massacre suspect Darrell Edward Brooks expressed apparent frustration over the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict.

The 39-year-old violent criminal posted about his intention to kill white people, including the elderly.

"[We start back knocking white people tha fuck out]" Brooks wrote amid the violent Black Lives Matter riots last year. "[The old white people too. Knock them tha fuck out.! Period]"

[Update]  'Dancing Grannies' Among Fatalities In The Waukesha Christmas Parade Attack: At Least 5 Dead, 40 Injured

The Milwaukee Dancing Grannies describes itself on its Facebook page as "group of grannies that meet once a week to practice routines for summer and winter parades." The group says its members are among the dead in Sunday's incident.

"Our group was doing what they loved, performing in front of crowds in a parade putting smiles on faces of all ages, filling them with joy and happiness," it said in a statement. "While performing the grannies enjoyed hearing the crowds cheers and applause  which certainly brought smiles to their faces and warmed their hearts."

"Those who died were extremely passionate Grannies," the group also said, adding that "our hearts are heavy at this most difficult time, as more information and updates become available it will be posted."

City officials confirmed early Monday, that at least five people had died and more than 40 suffered injuries. They warned that both numbers could change.

"At this time, we can confirm that 5 people are deceased and over 40 are injured," @cityofwaukesha wrote on social media. "However, these numbers may change as we collect additional information. Many people have self-transported to area hospitals. The Police Department has the person of interest in custody."

According to journalist Andy Ngo, the suspect Darrell Brooks who was just released from jail three days, has a long violent criminal history spanning multiple states.

Ngo said Brooks: "is a registered sex offender in Nevada. He was convicted over having sex with a child. In one of his now-deleted videos, he defended his actions, saying he was pimping the 'hoe.'"

According to one witness @kaleLern, who wrote on Twitter about the incident in Waukesha Sunday, a red SUV plowed through the parade: "hitting as many people as possible while shooting out the window. He ran over several elderly women who were dancing in the parade and many others please pray for everyone in Waukesha."

FOX 6's Sam Kraemer also reported another witness' account of the incident: "A woman who lives on Main Street says she saw the SUV barrel through a dance team of girls between 9 and 15 years old. She says the immediate reaction was silence, followed by screaming, running, checking on those injured."

Brayden Kowalski, a 19-year-old man who grew up in Waukesha, said that he was at the parade with his family when he saw an SUV plow through the crowd. 

"He’s just blowing through people, kind of just dinging a lot of people, bodies flying everywhere,” Kowalski said. "These people didn’t get run over, they got fucking thrown through the air. Like a lot of people got tossed up into the air.”

Almost immediately after the SUV went through the crowd, Kowalski and his mom went out into the crowd to try to help people who were hurt. "You could see the fragments of brains,” he said. "There were quite a few people with broken limbs, like a lot of broken legs, a lot of people shouting with broken legs. It was horrifying.”

One man attending the parade told Fox News that the red SUV that slammed into participants Sunday struck at least 10 people as he was stepping out of a pub along the parade route.

“As I was opening the door to walk out, people started yelling and running in -- and that's when I saw the red SUV,” Jordan Woynilko, a Milwaukee man who shared video of the incident’s aftermath under his Twitter handle, @J_Woynilko, said. “I saw it drive through and hit the people.”

He said he grabbed his friend, and they were both in shock as they made their way through the carnage. Good Samaritans were attempting CPR on multiple victims before paramedics arrived, he said.

“It was horrific as we were walking, and then when we turned off the main street there to walk up a few more blocks to the car, there were cops peeling around the corner, we’re assuming looking for the guy.”

"There were moms and dads yelling for their kids, people running around," Woynilko added. "When I rewatched the video, I could hear people talking, and they were like, 'There's eight people injured down there. We need an Ambulance over here.' There's one lady kneeling on the ground crying."

Waukesha Police Chief Daniel Thompson confirmed in a press conference Sunday that a red SUV drove through Christmas parade barricades and struck at least 20 individuals, including children.

Thompson said an officer who has been on the force for just over six years opened fire on the vehicle.

Thompson said the suspect [later identified as 39-year-old black man Darrell Edward Brooks Jr] did not open fire as some eyewitnesses said. But he said the investigation is still “very active."

Some of the fatalities are children, Thompson said, and the identities won't be revealed until families are notified.

Waukesha Fire Chief Steven Howard said his department transported 11 adults and 12 children to six area hospitals.

The attack which happened around 4:30 p.m. local time, comes amid divisive and hateful rhetoric from left-wing politicians and TV pundits who angrily condemned the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.
