Following the tyrannical crackdown on peaceful protest by Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, debate has intensified on social media over the plot by left-wing Western world leaders to impose Chinese-style totalitarian control on their populations.

Conservatives in America and across the West, have been sounding alarm over the Chinese social credit system and the so-called 'Great Reset' plan by World Economic Forum, WEF's Klaus Schwab and his allies in Western governments. The Emergencies Act invoked by Trudeau to go after the bank accounts and businesses of peaceful anti-vaccine-mandate protesters, seem to have woken up more people to the tyrannical impulses of many left-wing leaders in the West who are eager -- literally in Trudeau's case -- to adopt the Chinese system.

Appearing recently on Joe Rogan Experience podcast, ex-Islamic terrorist turned counter-extremism activist Maajid Nawaz discussed the plan by Western central banks to introduce Central Bank Digital Currencies. Such CBDCs would help governments exert more intrusive control over the use of money by citizens.

The British activist highlighted a proposal by former Chancellor of the Exchequer and Bank of England to introduce a programmable CBDC or digital cash that can prevent users from spending their money on what the government or employer does not deem sensible, -- in other words, the Chinese social credit system.

In the three-hour J.R.E. interview published Saturday, Nawaz also argued that while leaders worldwide have begun lifting coronavirus pandemic mandates and restrictions, they are leaving in place an apparatus of digital tracking and identification that forms the basis of a digital social credit score.

Nawaz said the globalists have people like Trudeau embedded in Western governments who subscribe to the Great Reset agenda. “That’s what they say themselves,” the British activist said, pointing out that the Great Reset advocates have famously asserted that by 2030 people will “own nothing and be happy,” is explained in detail on the WEF’s website.

In a 2020 book entitled “Covid-19: The Great Reset,” Schwab openly argued that the COVID-19 response should be used to “revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions.”

Clips of Nawaz' appearance on J.R.E. went viral online, leading to speculations about censorship when the episode briefly disappeared from Spotify. The streaming giant and its most popular exclusive podcaster Joe Rogan are still reeling from controversy after Neil Young and other old musicians pulled their songs from Spotify to protest so-called coronavirus misinformation on the platform.
